Amazing location and great to get a table via our hotel within 10 minutes, we made the 15 minute walk as it was a warm evening. On arrival we got a nice table and service was quick, we ordered a nice bottle of Melbec wine,...More

Came here for a birthday dinner. Steaks were cooked to perfection!!! Service was amazing and overall atmosphere was wonderful. It was pretty neat to watch the open kitchen however the only thing that makes me not want to give this place a perfect 5 was...More

The place is really stylish and poshy. I was there for a work related event so we dined in a private room with a set menu. Service was pretty good. No complaints there other than that my water glass smelled weird and was never replaced...More

Its like any other steak house, just way more expensive and not commensurately better. The steaks are good, but actually kind of dry. I waiter suggested a Bearnaise sauce which seemed like a good idea, but it never made it to the table, and the...More

Generally a good idea if you are going to Morton's anywhere to make a reservation in advance. However, this was spur of the moment decision so we ate at the bar. Service was fine, Salad and Sirloin were fine albeit thought my steak was a...More

My wife and I have been here 3 times in the last 4 months. It is a top notch steak place that rivals any in Toronto, NYC or Chicago. The prices are high, but you simply cannot find this style of steak restaurant for cheap....More

Food was good but service was not. Went for a friend's birthday and was told that they would do something special for her birthday, but we never got any acknowledgement of the birthday. First, we found a strand of hair in the bread. They did...More

I visited here as part of a large group. We had the private dining room. The menu was fixed with options for the appetizer and main. The Baked Five Onion Soup was quite good. The Filet Mignon main was excellent. This was accompanied by Mashed...More

Sometimes you walk into a place from referrals and research and then you walk out thinking why didn't I go with my gut feeling.

The restaurant is a bit formal and could do with a makeover. It's where our parents would celebrate an anniversary. The food and service is fantastic!! My Chicago rare filet was exceptional. Not keen on a chopped salad coming fully chopped but it was good....More

Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its
most stylish high-rise residences and heritage
buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden
arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel
from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of
the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools,
jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill
Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and

I had the same issue once, but re-read the agreement which states: "Membership card does not need to be presented to earn points or redeem rewards. In lieu of the membership card, members may provide the phone number identified in their account registration to earn points at the time of purchase. If Rewards are being redeemed, member will also be required to show valid ID. Only the member to whom the membership card is issued may earn points or redeem Rewards. The member must be paying for the food and beverage to earn points. Membership cards are issued to individuals only, not businesses or other entities or groups. Club points are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable." Most recently, it happened at a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant (Joe's Stone Crab) that has a similar program. The manager explained that anyone could amass tons of rewards just by telling friends to 'use their card'. Their intent is to get people to sign up themselves, not load up individual cards. And they further explained it's for my protection too since anyone that knows my phone number could say "look up my rewards" and I'd be out that money. Someone was just recently fired from the location I visited because of this policy, so it shows how serious all these companies are (not just Landry's). Apparently the server inadvertently added all the rewards to the check, even though the diners paid by 'credit card roulette'. This is where the server picks a card from under a napkin to see who gets to pay the bill. It's like any user agreement, there are rules. Don't make a server or manager lose their livelihood just because you don't want to abide by them.

Companies make policies and their customers must comply or go elsewhere. Morton’s is a 5 minute walk from where I live. Food and service are good. When I am paying I will go to Morton’s. I would never cause the firing of an... More
