A friend and I cam for lunch today. The food and service are still good. I have the Horiatiki salad, which is a combination of tomatoes, olives, cucumber, onions and peppers, in olive oil. It was lovely and generous. We will be back.

This is my favourite Greek restaurant on the Danforth. Been going for years. Have since moved out of Toronto but still go down on a regular basis and hit here. Like the patio in the summer. Wait staff very friendly. Great selection. I like being...More

I love this restaurant because they get as many ingredients as possible directly from Greece. Their village salad is one of my favorites because the feta cheese is so incredible and they use the best dark and pungent olive oil as the dressing. My other...More

Day four of our visit and now we are feeling like seasoned Toronto travelers. A brief subway ride from W. Bloor St. to Greektown and we were eating yet again. The place is mobbed with regulars and we were so blessed to be able to...More

We went to Mezes on a Saturday evening for dinner and five of us had amazing meals. The taramasalata was incredible along with the other dips which we found out are sold to specialty grocery stores in Toronto. Everything was incredibly fresh and the restaurant...More

Mezes are Greek appetisers, and this place specializes in them. (They also do standard Greek meals of the moussaka/souvlaki plus Greek salad variety.) You'd do best to order a number of small plates to sample and share, as you would in a tapas restaurant. Prices...More

10 of us went on a Friday night. The restaurant was full and had a bustling feel. Loud, busy and with instructions to 'eat with your hands as this is a Greek restaurant' we had a ball. We had a mix of adults and children...More

Our neighbourhood favourite.....we stopped in for lunch for salads. Yummy, the Rodos....with nuts and goat cheese and figs! And the Horiatiki.....your real Greek salad....equally good. The food here is amazing. And consistently so.

This is my go to place for Greek food in Toronto. There is a reason why most restaurants in the area are sparsely populated while Mezes is full. Great food, great service. No reservations so the only downside is the lineup to get a table.

When you have the Greek crave on this is the place. Quaint atmosphere, nicely decorated. The staff quite polite but not over the top friendly and that's just fine. Timing for our apps, salad and and main courses was perfect. We did not feel rushed...More

East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that
team up to make this district one of the most
multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT
community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or
night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its
thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more
relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection
of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets,

We are planning a trip to Akumal Beach Resort late Feb or early March Is this a good time to be able to swim with the sea turtles? A friend was there in early Dec and said they saw very few sea turtles.

My son was just there at the end of April and they had great turtle swims. There are reviews of this under turtle snorkeling in Akumal in Trip Advisor.
