I was hesitant to go here, as most buffets where I live are not good-quality food. But this buffet was wonderful! They had an excellent variety, and the food was actually hot and flavorful. Our service, as was the trend in Toronto, was incredible! Would definitely go back on another visit.

If you want fresh, hot and yummy Chinese food, come to the Mandarin Restaurant. Service is quick and the staff is very attentive! We were seated at a lovely table, close to the buffet. We were eating in about 5 minutes after being seated. I love that they bring a lovely hot towel to clean your hands with first and... More

I've been to many Chinese restaurants and quite a number of all-you-can-eat spots: this place is the very best to date. The physical space is nicely decorated (the fish pond and aquariums at the entrance add a charming touch) and the food is definitely great. Excellent options and a wide variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts. 4 thumbs up!

I love The Manderin, The all you can eat king crab legs on the weekend just pure paradise! The rest of their selection of food is quite varied and good with western and Chinese cuisine, the dessert selection is huge. And I really love the service, everyone is so helpful and always says hi and bye and welcome to the... More

I was meeting some friends of friends and we decided on this restaurant and location. After introducing each other, we decided to go for lunch at the buffet and there were so many options. All of the food we had whether Asian or Western was delicious and fresh. The service was efficient and we left feeling that we got more... More

First off, I LOVE Mandarin and their food. Our waiter was really nice and friendly, his name is Eric. He kept refilling my water all throughout my stay which was a great attentive touch, as well. My spoon on the other hand is disgusting (I have a picture posted to my review of it)!! It looks like burnt chicken or... More

My father wanted to eat at Mandarin for his birthday. So we packed up the family and headed to the buffet. The lobby wasn't very packed which I really appreciated. But then again it was a very snowy day. The staff greeted us and were very quick to find us a table. When we were seated our waitress came and... More

Being a vegetarian and careful about Chinese food, i was prepared before hitting the restaurant. i drank lots of water to counter MSGs that may come with the food, choose food wisely. As it said, it is a chinese restaurant, so choose Chinese, not Japanese or Western food which they offer. Attempting to be a healthy eater, i went to... More

One of the better Chinese buffets in Toronto. Staff were excellent, food was good and selection was vast. Reasonably priced for lunch.

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
