It happened to be close to the Convention Centre and we didn't have a lot of time. The caesar salad was really good. I had a chicken sandwich. It was breaded and deep fried which I wasn't expecting and it was a weird combination of flavours with the bun and sauce. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Portion sizes were... More

Canyon Creek is franchised 'fine dining'. It's fine if you're looking for something nicer than a roadhouse or burger joint. But it's certainly not destination dining.

We went for a business lunch, and we were pleasantly surprise with the variety of dishes that mixed few countries South America and Canadian. We had the Peruvian chicken with a nice mix of spices with aji amarillo delicious, also had the slides. Service was great and atmosphere was inviting and restaurant clean and spacious. We used to have meetings there as they have private rooms that you can reserve . It was all pretty ordinary, food average and Service staff resemble the walking dead . But in fairness that seems relevant to most of Front street establishments

Celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary which included dinner at the Canyon Creek on Front Street. The atmosphere is awesome, service great and food excellent. We had no wait time as we made reservations prior. I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Toronto.

While this place is pricey, it's one of those places you are happy to pay the bill when it comes. My steak was grilled, seasoned, and served with perfection. The prime rib sliders were my favorite appetizer. All the veggies that came with it were also excellent. Our waiter was a real pro and even though we arrived in prime... More

We came across Canyon Creek when we were looking for somewhere to eat after 8:30 on Sunday night. We easily got a table and enjoyed some very tasty bread before having our dinner of Grilled chicken Caesar salad and an Original burger with cheese. The caesar salad was substantial and really tasty. The burger was just the right size..not a... More

We were more than a bit waterlogged by the time we got to the restaurant; soaked right through in a downpour. Our server was pleasant and understanding and helped us to make quick choices so we could go dry off. The meal was tasty and well presented. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but overall, we enjoyed a decent meal for... More

Lunchtime visit - we didn't have a reservation - good choice on menu. The lettuce wraps were very good as was the tenderloin steak. Service is brisk but friendly. Would recommend.

Located downtown on Front St, Canyon Creek is close to lots of Toronto attractions making it any easy choice for a meal. Food is well worth the stop. Quality, taste and selection lead to options for everyone. The fix prix menu has a wide choice of options and is a great deal. Restaurant is bustling however, easy to have a... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
