Dined here as part of Summerlicious, had an incredible meal on the restaurants patio. Staff are friendly engaging and make sure that you have an amazing time. They can accommodate a small intimate or large gathering. Fantastic food, wonderful staff the Brownstone Bistro is a...More

Went during Winterlicious with my mom and sister, because we love Winterlicious and were in the area. First complaint, winterlicious needs to stop including mediocre restaurants, because it is just not worth the time or money. Service started out promising, waiter was friendly and served...More

My friends and I arrived at this location at sharp 3:45 p.m., hoping to catch their lunch special which we have once previously enjoyed. However, upon arriving we waited at their doorway for a good 2 minutes before the man whom we witnessed smoking outside...More

Enjoyed lunch at this swanky style bistro in the heart of the city, where the portions were great! Just enough of a hearty meal to satisfy your craving but fill you up and energize you for the rest of the day's activities. I appreciated that...More

What should have been a nice meal was ruined by sloppy preparation and poor handling. The quesadilla was lacking cheese, all bunched up in the centre with no filling in spots. The pico de gallo was stale, had been frozen, and the chop was far...More

For a restaurant that has a pretty good rating this was one of the worst experiences i've had. So much so that I decided to write my first review! The service was terrible and caused us to be late for our show up the street....More

Being from the area we thought we would try Brownstone as a possible new local restaurant. Let me say it was a one and done experience. We went in a little later in the evening after the dinner rush and were served by a gentleman...More

Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip
and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with
a strong student influence from the Ryerson University
Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of

We did not stay to find out. We were standing in line for 10-15 minutes. No one from "front of house" even acknowledged us or anyone else in line. We did not stay. We will not return

Description
Family owned Italian/Continental fusion restaurant. We have been a staple in the Yonge and Wellesley community for the past 13 years. Just recently we underwent a major renovation courtesy of the TV show Restaurant Takover on the Food Network. Ambiance is elegant and classy without being pretentious or stuck up. Our exceptionally-trained staff provide our guests with fast and efficient service while ensuring they feel relaxed and comfortable, never rushed. But most importantly, they make sure our guests feel welcome in our home.
