If you want a steak, any steak and want it done well go there! Steaks are simply served with simple sides but unquestionably first rate cuts of steak! The wine list will make you whimper like today's cote Rotie from James. Sublime!!!!!

Located in the heart of downtown Toronto just off of Yonge St, this is a must visit restaurant if you're a steak and wine lover. The menu offers all cuts of steaks and always cooked to perfection each time I have visited. All steaks come...More

OK, it's in the higher end of average spend for a steak house but it makes an ideal location for a celebration. I started with escargot, I dine a fair bit in France and the manner of serving was original to me, beneath mushrooms. I...More

Not the cheapest place, however the food and service were excellent.Steak I had was really good and definitely worth the money. Full credit must also go to the staff who were all professional and welcoming, especially the really nice coat lady.

I went with a group on a prefixed menu on the wine sellar two stories down the restaurant. Impressive. The owner went thru the history and how they built the wine collection (biggest I have ever seen in a restaurant). He is a great character...More

Enclosed in what used to be a house that is older than Confederation, it looks a bit like a hole in the wall but that is the furthest thing from reality. Valet parking available. Fantastic service, including a great suggestion from the sommelier, excellent food...More

The service was great, of course, and the servers were very knowledgeable about the selections and cuts of meat. Atmosphere is what one would expect, but the restaurant was decorated throughout with beautiful works and antiques. Many places make a great steak, but the sides...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to

Just recommended this restaurant and I would like to know why nobody is responding to the emails sent in regards to the food and service. I am a true TO person and love the old spots and want them to survive.

As said, no dress code, but it is an upper class restaurant so dress pants would be preferable.
