We had a fantastic lunch at Astoria. The Greek salad and chicken souvlaki meal were amazing. The 8oz souvlaki meals are enough for a couple to share for lunch. Enjoy seeing the open kitchen as you walk in.

Food was great, portion size was perfect. Tzatziki sauce was the best I've had in a long time! Service was also excellent. We'll be coming back.

We were here for dinner with friends. The service was excellent. We all ordered souvlaki, either pork or chicken, and everyone enjoyed it. Great tzaziki as well. The appetizers were good - can't go wrong with saganaki, but the bruschetta was a small bowl of...More

Lots of iceberg lettuce in the Greek salad, bland potatoes, VERY garlicky tzatziki, (over priced as well) and little ambiance. Better Greek places to eat on the Danforth. Not good value for $$

Best greek restaurant in Toronto. Generous portions, comfortable atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. This is a throwback to the family restaurant. Take your whole family and have a great time. Make sure to irder the saganaki (flaming cheese). OPA!!!

We have lived a street south of the Danforth for 30 years, and Astoria was on the street when we moved here. Place is a hub of activity, consistently year in and year out more so than any other restaurant on the street. We have...More

Grilled calamari, sent back, they replaced it, with what looked like frozen calamari, out of a box, but tasted better than the grilled, tough, overcooked, tasteless, chicken breast over salted, vegetables either frozen or overcooked. Cancelled the garlic bread at the end if the meal...More

Heard good reviews & was disappointed with our experience. Firstly, our Greek salads had no cucumbers, only one olive & hardly any tomatoes...it was more like a head of lettuce on a plate sprinkled with feta. The grilled calamari was delicious, chicken kebab, butterflied shrimps...More

East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that
team up to make this district one of the most
multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT
community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or
night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its
thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more
relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection
of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets,
