Allen's is a pleasant pub, though it's better in summer when you can sit outside. the food is adequate but could be better: the Galway chowder was on the thin side and needed seasoning. The Ulster Fry is a breakfast dish served later in the...More

I was at Allen's last night with a large group before a concert at the Danforth Music Hall. We had a reservation for 6:00 pm and the majority of us were there by 6:10 pm. Our waiter was run off his feet. I'm not sure...More

We had a really bazaar experience at this place. The food was amazing the venue good, but we were made to feel unwelcome upon arrival. I went as part of a group of friends, many of us hadn't seen each other in years. We had...More

We love the outdoor back patio in the summer. It is a little oasis from the bustle and noise on the Danforth. Great selection of Ontario wines by the glass. The food was good as usual. Friendly service.

Sat down at 830 to eat before a 945 show at the Danforth Music Hall. Had to wait until 930 (!) for the food to arrive, and the ravioli was still frozen on the inside. No offer to comp us anything, meagre apology. And it's...More

Used to frequent this place 20 yrs ago and apart from the willow tree in the back having grown and the floors a little more worn it felt exactly the same. Attentive and charming staff, solid food and fine beverages. Very few places I can...More

I have been going to Allen's for years now, the great selection of beers, scotch and of course the burger keep bring me back. Aside from the burger and fries, the capon wings, black bean soup, seafood chowder, lamb, and steak are pretty darn good.

Great place for casual dining with good food. I had dinner there with friends. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food as well as the wine. I had the lamb shank with mashed potatoes, and it was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing!...More

East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that
team up to make this district one of the most

night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its
thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more
relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection
of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets,
