Grabbed some bacon and eggs here. Food was good but the service could have been a bit more friendly. It's right across from the Holiday Inn hotel. It closes in the mid-afternoon which is unfortunate if you want to eat eggs for dinner.

We had a great brunch here - I had the eggs benedict and they did it with spinach instead of asparagus on my request, warning me that it was previously frozen spinach which I did appreciate. My other half had the cheese crepe with sausage, bacon and eggs. Not over impressed with the meat but the eggs were great and... More

We've been going here once a week for nearly four? years now. Maybe five. They always treat us so well. The portions of some of the meals are huge, but the glorious fruit sculpture on them, in generosity is a nice thing. You want cheap and plain, go to the golden arches.

While visiting in Toronto we stopped at Coras for breakfast. I had bacon, sausage, eggs, homefries while my wife had the crepes and bacon. The food was good and the service was friendly. For breakfast you cant ask for more.

I've been to several other Cora's around Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada, and I've never been disapointed so far. But this Cora was something special. The person who served me, Tenzin, was not only kind, but also very patient (English is my second language, so I did have to make him repeat most of the question he asked) The food... More

A bright and colorful breakfast place with a wide menu. Fresh fruit is prominent with most dishes. Ate here three times and had different offerings. Each was great and the service was fast. One of 130 places, according to the place mat.

Excellent pancakes and waffles -- my wife's waffles had eight different kinds of fruit on it! Both waffles and pancakes were prepared just to our liking, light and fluffy pancakes and firm but not too firm waffles. The one problem we encountered was that the hot food was served on very cold plates, so that by the time you had... More

Found this place on trip adviser - just around the corner from our hotel (Courtyard by Marriott downtown) and had breakfast there throughout our stay. Servers were great and the breakfasts were fantastic - particularly the granola and fruit bowl and the pancakes. What impressed us most was our server who remembered our drink preferences from one day to the... More

Wehad a great time in Coras enjoying different joyces on breakfast combination. Each meal is served with a bunch of fruits and the dishes are exactly as shown in the menu card. Really worth the money.

Fantastic breakfast just opposite the Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre. Colourful and welcoming venue. I have never seen a breakfast menu like this. A wide range of food available with lots of healthy and sinful options at a fair price. Good courteous service too. Best breakfast ever and if I am back in Toronto it will be on the itinerary.

Thank Alba-Cat

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
