A group of 6 of us from work went for lunch. The service was very good to start, but then the server completely disappeared and stopped checking. We were on lunchtime and had to get back - no one else in our section (or in our half of the restaurant); had to go searching for the server; she was at... More

I keep coming back both because it is easy to get to, just a few blocks south of the 401 on Avenue Rd but also because the pub grub is always the best. The only issue is lack of parking. All side streets are virtually no parking zones with perhaps 5 or 6 spots beside the restaurant on the side... More

With it being National French Fry Day I had to try the fish and chips. The portion and size was excellent. The chips and halibut fish tasted very good. Myself and Tammi had fun. Lots of tarter sauce. Catching up after many years as old work associates! Let it be known on this very hot day,...31 degrees Celsius. We first... More

The pheasant and firkin is my favorite local eatery. The service is always outstanding, as is the food and drinks. The owners are often there to greet customers and they take the time to learn the names of their guests. I frequently come here with my wife and kids, but also enjoy coming alone to sit at the bar and... More

Was here for lunch. The menu is very simple, not many vegetarian or healthy options. Pretty standard for an average bar/pub though. Service was good as it was not busy, as we were there for lunch later in the afternoon.

Go to local pub. Food is typically decent however the last four chicken wing orders has produced nothing more than drums. If you're a drum wing lover then you're in luck. The last straw was tonight when we pre ordered specially to have an equal order of drums and flats and ended up with just about all drums - again!!!The... More

twice we got dirty coffee cup and a glass. The coffee cup dried stains on it and the glass had leftover lipstick on the rim. I didn't leave as I was with others. Waitress did not seem shocked an no response from management. as if this is frequent.

Came here for dinner with friends who live in the neighbourhood. Getting a table was quick but that was the last of quick to happen! Our waitress took her time with everything and forgot parts of the drink order and main entrees. We waited for a long time before got the second drink order and she just slapped the order... More
