Fantastic wood-burning oven pizza, perhaps the best I ever had. Great lunchtime prix fixe value. Awesome gelato dessert and coffee. The one downside was the service. It slowed down a bit after a great start. Then I see the bill and some things were charged extra, without the waiter telling us they're an extra charge. Not the best. Then, tip... More

We have eaten at different PizzaLibretto locations. I always find their Woodoven crust is soggy, especially the eggplant pizza. We also ordered 3 other pizzas: Diablo with peppers, the kale, and the arugula "special." For one bottle of sparking water and one beer in total, we paid $85 before tip (altogether $95). The ambience is low brow, and it's hard... More

My daughter recommended this restaurant for lunch and I loved it. The menu is simple but delicious. Great pizzas. The drink menu also had some unusual and creative drinks. We had the fixed price lunch menu and what great value! The arugula salad was huge, full of pear, walnuts and parmigiana cheese. The pizza was authentic margarita- so good. Finished... More

Yum! The 900* degree pizza oven cooks their pizza perfectly in 90 seconds. They used fresh ingredients and it was thoroughly enjoyable!

This has been my 4th visit on Sunday in March. Love the pizza, love the attention one receives when first arriving. Wishing that attention was there when the bill comes and when one is leaving. Mostly young staff who could care less that you were there. When paying by atm or credit card, your first tip option is 18%. Not... More

Yummy!!!! Our server was friendly and the service was super fast. You get bread and dipping oil and the pizzas came out so fast we hardly had to wait! Our server was diligent in refilling waters and I would recommend to everyone.

If you like Neapolitan style pizza, this is your place. I’m reviewing the Danforth location but have also been to the original Ossington spot. Consistently excellent at both. Try the classic Margarita or, my favourite, the eggplant with whipped ricotta. Appetizers don’t disappoint either - try the carpaccio or meatballs, or keep it healthy with a house or beet salad.... The pizza was excellent: tasty and a great thin crust. Both my wife and I loved our salads. We looked at some of the food that was being served to others and it all looked wonderful. The service was friendly and efficient. The only complaint I have is that I thought $10 was a bit much for a medium sized... More

I can't say enough about this place. We're local, and go every weekend, and don't get tired of it. Always solid quality, interesting specials, and quite simply best pizza in the city.

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
