Went for a mid-morning chat with a long-time friend. He's been several times and raved about the place. I'm not a coffee drinker (he loves their coffees), but I ordered an iced tea. Served in a stemless wine glass it was fresh and not very...More

Wandering around Toronto on foot during our short vacation there, we used Yelp to check out some good places for drinks and snacks. This place came up highly rated, so we decided to pop in. It's a very hipster-y joint, filled with locals. One step...More

Love the bar and spaces for working and reading. The quality of espresso is superior to chains and I love that they have a variety to offer and the person making it gives a damn about the coffee and how it's made. Warm place, alternative...More

While staying in this area (which is known for it's coffee options) I stumbled upon the VooDoo... Lots of those kids either reading, writing and/or on their computers.... 'A Latt'e says I, with a Bagel and Cream Cheese. I am offered either the 'Nutty' bean...More

This was a recommendation from our son who lives nearby. We were exploring the local area and dropped in for Cappuccino, Americano and something fresh from the bakery case. Well prepared and nicely presented at a reasonable price. Given that it is darkly decorated and...More

We enjoyed a couple of lattes here which were good. We also smashed down an almond croissant which was quite nice. The vibe in the cafe is relaxed and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and were kind enough to allow us to use their...More

Voodoo child cafe is within walking distance from my sons place in Toronto. It's worth the half hour exercise to have a great coffee. I try and visit whenever I am in Toronto. Coffee snob from White Rock.

No nonsense, non pretentious, seriously great tasting coffee - we thankfully stumbled upon VoodooChild when trying to escape commercial/retail Toronto (continue west on College into Little Italy) and Starbucks/Second Cup outlets, looking for a proper coffee. Absolutely worth the journey for outstanding coffee (add bourbon...More

This was THE BEST brunch spot in Toronto, and unfortunately they are no longer serving brunch, which just breaks my heart. Regardless, it's an excellent coffee shop with great service.

Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip
and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with
a strong student influence from the Ryerson University
Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in
flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to
Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of
