The two of us ordered 5 dishes. Tuna Avocado Salsa, Lobster Oshisushi, Salmon Sashimi and Tuna Carpaccio were all nicely presented and were delicious. The Sushi Bites we thought were less good. Another plus for Hapa Izakaya is that they have beautiful ice cold Asahi...More

I went to Hapa on a Friday evening after trying to walk into Guu in Parkdale. The good thing was that while Guu was a 2.5 hour wait, Hapa had no line at all and I was easily able to make a reservation for 3....More

The food was excellent and the service was a plus, but the restaurant had a really bad smell - kinda like sewage that really turned me off. The prices are good and I enjoyed my meal...but the smell. I hope this was just a one...More

Food looked beautiful, and tasted great. Good place to...More

We were there for Travelzoo Omakase. The atmosphere was not very Japanese, food was so-so, service was good. We have no intention if coming back, and we could not recommend this restaurant.

We purchased a Travelzoo voucher for the fixed ten course meal. Enjoyed it to the extent that we have purchased another set of vouchers and will be going with friends for another enjoyable evening.

Hapa has a few things going for it....Great location, efficient staff that are happy to please and varied clientele that give a nice vibe. The crucial part, good food was somewhat lacking. The sushi was bland and made with tasteless rice. The smaller items (miso...More

My fiancé and I had dinner at Hapa and have nothing but great things to say. We got a 10 course set menu deal from travel zoo which let us taste an array of Hapa's offerings. Starting with edamame and miso soup it only got...More
