Great service. Nice selection of beers. I had the haddock fish and chips and found it acceptable. Fish tacos were good.

We absolutely LOVE this place! The Monk's Kettle has done some revamping of their menu (while keeping my favourite - the Monk Burger) and has changed all of their beers to Ontario breweries. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially if you're talking about trying new brews. Every item we've tried on the menu (which is probably all of... More

Decor is simple and inviting in this low key pub restaurant that is quiet and intimate. The best soups in GTA consistently. Pair this with a burger and one of their dozens of Ontario craft beers and you are blessed!

This restaurant regularly switches up its beer list. And they KNOW beer. One of their staff members is to beer what sommeliers are to wine. And the food is delicious comfort food. Try their lamb burger - it doesn't disappoint!

I have been here twice in the last two months (both times at the suggestion of friends who had heard good things but never been). Here are the three reasons I really like it: 1. The beer selection is excellent! 2. The food is excellent. While all menu items seem like they could set you up for winter hibernation, the... More

Contrary to the last reviewer, who has only written one review, this is a truly hidden gem. We recently moved to the area and are HUGE craft beer enthusiasts. Great selection of rotating taps and the food is outstanding!! Service every single visit, 5 deep now, has been some of the best I've ever had!! Keep up the great work guys!!... More

Food was inedible. We ordered the fish cakes and wings - both were rock hard, dried out and cold. Server took ten minutes to bring us our beer and there was only one other table of two; she did not come back after dropping our food off, and did not clear our dishes even after bill was paid. Would never... More

First off, most of the things advertised online on their website are not listed on their in person menu. The restaurant menu only had 3 sparse pages of food items, which does not add up to the items listed online. So, that was a huge disappointment once you sit down. The service tries to be up to par; however, in... More

My brother treated me to lunch at the Monk's Kettle. Great little place! Wide selection of beers, including lots of Ontario craft brews. You can get flights of beers (4 small glasses) so you can can try several brands. Menu includes most pub foods. We had the "Divine Burger" which features a specialty meat, changed regularly. We had kangaroo. Wouldn't... More

Great spot on bloor. Loved the mussels and garlic fries. It is a laid back atmosphere with friendly service. The Craft beer selection is always changing and there are so many delicious options to choose from. I highly recommend trying this place.
