My friend and I had an early dinner at Taste of China on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was not crowded yet and we ordered a mooshoo chicken and a fried noodles with vegetables. Not seafood, but what we wanted. They have a huge menu to satisfy all needs. Food was served promptly. And the two dishes were more than... More

We had dinner with friends in this restaurants a week after the Chinese New Year. The good was very good - I particularly like the chicken (dipped in spring onion & ginger sauce). The service was good, although the owner chatted on the phone behind us for a period of time while we were there!

We stopped in for lunch today, and ordered the medium won ton soup and the medium hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup was especially amazing. Two mediums filled both of us up, for only about $6 or $7 each. Awesome value. Every dish we watched come out of the kitchen looked amazingly good so we will be... More

Food is good but service is slow. Wait staff are not very polite. The restaurant is small and tables are very close together so it is not comfortable sitting at any table. Good seafood dishes and traditional chinese food. One of the better restaurants in the downtown area.

I will admit that our table ordered very traditional Canadian style chinese (General Tsao, crispy beef, chicken balls, beef noodle, etc). but any food court would have been better then what we got. The batter they used tasted like funnel cake, sauces way too sweet as well, and no spice, heat or flavour. Just cloying sweetness. The noodle dish was... More

The food was ok, no great shake. But what upset me was when my sister went to pay, the waitress was complaining about the tips. My sister was visiting from England and that was her first night in Toronto.. And her wallet was a mix of two different currencies so she was taking some time to go through it. Anyway... More

We planned to go to another restaurant but it was closed. This was the first restaurant we found. Service was quite poor the waiter was quick enough to seat us and take our order but after that we were ignored wanted more water. There was only one waiter he threw the menus on the table and never made any effort... More

Ordered from here for a family function and it was great! Delivery was prompt and friendly and the food was great! I especially liked the general Tao chicken and the fried fish. The pork with veggies had very little pork though so that was disappointing.

The food was ok, however could not make up for the worst service I've ever experienced. My husband and I invited his sister and kids to the city for the day. We got Marlies tickets and decided before the game we'd get lunch abd wall around town to show the kids a big city since there from farm land 3... More
