We stopped in to Dark Horse on the recommendation of a local friend and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly. The coffee and pastries were really good. The space (on Queen near the DVP) was open and attractive.

This cafe has good big tables to use your laptop and study with wifi. Unfortunately it's super busy and they have very loud music and no outlets.
Lovely old historic building with great period features like the tin ceiling. The coffee was excellent, see why it gets a mention in the DK Top Ten Guide. Very nice staff and tasty bits to eat with it.
