The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and pretty good selection on their menu. I had the green curry chicken and red curry beef on their lunch menu on 2 separate occasions, both were decent for the price (9.95). It also came with a tiny bowl of Tom yum soup and a veggie spring roll. I tried the mango sticky rice... More

Food is great as usual, as real as when I was working in Thailand in past. Servers are patient and helped us redoing an item that we misunderstood and placed order.

My favs are pad Thai and cashew chicken, but as in the title above- few can match Sorn Thai north of Eglinton and south of Lawrence..Admittedly, the shrimp in the dish here are delicious, plump and nicely cooked, but the rest, especially the noodles are gelatinous. Even the peanuts at the edge appear to be ground so fine they are... More

We had the lunch combo with a spring roll, Thom Yum soup and entree for under $10 each. The food was very tasty, the portions were full size and perfectly spiced. The lunch rush was just ending when we got there and we didn't have to wait for a table. The staff were quick and efficient and place has a... More

Honestly, it's a great restaurant, I binged that night on food, and everything I had was spot on, and you can feel it in the spices and the ingredients. I really enjoyed it, Please don't miss it. Cannot get over how good it is.

went as a large group. portions were as expected for price. tasty food, nothing spectacular but good solid thai food. would go again. They let us linger after our meal which was nice as it was a bit of a family reunion. Good service.

I was invited for lunch with family and was reluctant to go as I am not the greatest fan of Thai food. I find too much sugar is added in a fair bit of the food. I was pleasantly surprised when eating the food. It was well balanced and the taste was very good. Will definitely go back

Nice ambience and great service even when they were busy. The eggplant with tofu, baked seafood in young coconut and basil chilly fried rice are highly recommended. Will visit again. Highly recommended.

Just passing by and so dropped by for lunch. You can always judge a good Thai restaurant by its Pad Thai. It is true that the portions are generous but the lunch "Pad Thai Noodle, no Meat" was nothing to write home about. I was surprised at how gluey and gelatinous it was. I only ate half of it, I... We were walking by and stopped for lunch. I had their chef special green curry chicken. The food was excellent and a generous portion. Soup was good too. Spring roll was fried and I prefer fresh spring but it was ok. My husband had beef with broccoli. This is a good dish for those who don't like real spicy food.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
