The food is about as good as you would get a couple of mikes away The Korean Town without yorkville price. Service is very good . Full Bar. Food is average. Prices are high. All in all - average.

The first time I came there was no one in the restaurant. It felt exclusive. I've sampled so many amazing dishes from the yuzu salad dressing to the miso fish. The service is sweet and thoughtful and the owner is delightful to talk to. At one point, she invited me to enjoy an evening of sake tasting. I thanked her... More

For a Korean restaurant koko has some of the best sushi in Toronto. The kimchi trio is outstanding and the ribs are second to none. Good luck getting a seat any day of the week but enjoy

I enjoyed my salad and seafood pancake. There were a lot of other items on the menu that I would've liked to try as well. While I liked my food, I didn't find the staff to be very attentive, which is why I did not give a higher review.

A small restaurant serving Korean and Japanese meals. The place looks attractive with comfortable modern style decoration. Friendly and attentive service. And for all, delicious food and wines.

This is a small boutique like restaurant in the heart of Yorkville. The food is beautiful!!! The staff are helpful, friendly and professional. We ordered the cod and a tofu rice bowl and shared both. Excellent!!! Beautifully prepared! For dessert we had black sesame ice-cream.....mmmmm. Amazing!!! The place is pristine!!!

Located in swanky Yorkville; I have been going there for almost four years. The food is consistently great! The restaurant is located down a tiny flight of steps, serves Korean and Japanese fare. First timers should try the Bimimbap, served streamingly hot, beef, rice and veg, have it with an egg on top. Ingredients are always fresh, tasty, and although... More

KOKO! is great Korean/Japanese food, but the sign that one needs to find this little culinary gem tucked into a lower level of Toronto's tony Yorkville district, actually translates from Japanese as "HERE -- THIS PLACE" . But if you missed it, that would translate into "a shame" in any language. As you might expect, the decor is minimalist and... More

Fantastic little gem in Toronto. Order the bibimbap with bulgogi and get the best of both worlds! Had the sushi/sashimi starter, fresh and delicious. Super and genuinely friendly staff! Can't wait to go back to try other items on the menu.

I had a late lunch at Koko recently by myself. The service was wonderful. The waiter/bartender engaged in conversation throughout my meal. I had the seafood stir fry with vegetables. Big portion and not spicy. Great hidden restaurant.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
