We really enjoyed our Brunch. Décor was nice, nice selection of food, reasonable price, and good service. We already made reservations for next Sunday's Brunch!

Cibo is a beautiful restaurant, nicely decorated and pleasant to visit and have dinner at. Food is quite tasty and the wine selection is rather good. Sure, food is nothing out of the ordinary but is nicely cooked and well presented. However, the service could do with some improving. Staff were a bit indifferent and probably need a bit training.... This was our first time to this location and would be happy to return. We made a reservation and it's good we did as it was pretty busy and there was a steady stream of others coming in the entire time. We had a nice young Italian waiter named Giovanni who was very pleasant and helpful. We weren't crazy about... More

This is my second time at Cibo's in Yorkville. We didn't have a reservation on a Thursday night but we're given a choice of setting in the bar area or a table looking out onto Yorkville--of course, we opted for the latter. We weren't certain whether we were just going to have drinks or a bite to eat. We were... More

Went to the Yorkville location last night to celebrate my birthday. It's a nice restaurant but nothing really different stood out on the menu. Everything was so salty. I ordered the seafood pasta which was like eating a mouthful of salt. Sent it back and got a pizza instead, still salty but I sucked it up. My mom sent back... More

My friends and I love food and wine, we always look for new places. CIBO for us is not a new place but new branch. The Yorkville location is in the heart of high end dinning area of Toronto and the place itself reflects this image with nice modern look and friendly staff. Very busy daily and for sure on... More

I have visited the other locations for this chain and find the Yorkville site to be a perfect midtown location, with all the amenities of the village around it. The two levels helps cut some of the noise, but on a busy weekend evening, the place is jumping, and a fun place to be. We shared a few of the... More

Not a good moment for us. I don't think this was a place with a great price/quality value as we taste just some appetizers and few pasta for a too expensive final bill. 35 $ for person is to much for such a poor choice of recipes. Just a note for the chef. The taste of the foods was pretty... More

Always great food... decently priced. The servers could pick it up a notch but it's also that loud busy fun atmosphere so it works. They have days with half price wines and other specials. The charcuterie board is delightful... pasta is great - just remind them "al dente!"

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
