Saw the decent reviews and was in the area, so thought I would give it a try. The restaurant was freezing. The only other customers in the restaurant, one of them had their winter coat on while eating. I mentioned to the server that it...was very cold inside their restaurant and they should turn up their heat. Cutlery was dirty, and replaced when requested. Naan was not cooked in a tandoor, which is not what I would expect from an Indian restaurant. Food and service was ok. Overall the restaurant was definitely not up to Toronto standards. Cardboard boxes were piled in the restaurant. I’m sorry I spent my money there.More

Food was very good and Tasty. Nice customer service and ambience. To summarize, it was a nice experience to have spicy Indian food. We had ordered Pav Bhajji which was delicious and Chhole Bature was also Nice. Quantity of Chhole can be increased a little....Otherwise, a perfect restaurant for Indian snacks and Food.More

My friend wanted to try this place and he was craving some Mumbai food, so we both hopped on a street car and reached there. It's located right around the corner and easy to commute to. They have an outdoor as well as an indoor...seating. We ordered dahi puri and Bombay burger. I found dahi puri to be a little over priced and the Bombay burger had a little more ketchup. Over all it was decent taste wiseMore

Just went to get some chat the other day, and was met with such a rude old lady behind the counter. She was so rude to the staff in front of the customers. It's almost 2019, don't treat other humans like dirt, no matter how...old and "wise" you think you are. Arrgh so frustrated with fellow Indians bringing their "nauker-maalik" (Servant - Master) mentality to Canada.More

My partner and I were exploring the area and decided to visit this place as it seemed to have potential vegan food. It turned out only a few items were vegan so we got them. The establishment was old and looked more like the kind...of place you would go after a night out on the boos. It was empty as well even though it was Saturday at 5pm. Our food arrived and we were a little underwhelmed. It tasted pretty good but it was basically a plate of fried onions and rice. It was definetly a new experience but i don't think i would go back.More

Particularly enjoyed the dahi kachori puris and falooda. NICE quick spot if visiting the indian bazaar area. They will modify as well if you dont want to be bombarded with spice.

This place in never consistent - sometimes the food tastes great and other times it does not. The Pani Puri was not good - the pani (water with spices) had no flavour. The Sev Puri was not good as well - they put ketchup on...it! The Samosa Chaat and Dahi Kachori Puri were great!More

Just came out of the restaurant and I had the worst experience ever .. I ordered pani puri and the pani was stale and smelling very bad. I couldn't take a sip. I told them and they got the same pani again and they told...us that pani is good. Everything was so cold that I felt like it's been kept in the refrigerator for days. It was snowing very bad and their cash machine wasn't working. They wanted us to get the money from ATM and pay. The lady didn't know about the interac e transfer which for me was very surprising. Please avoid going to this place if you are looking for fresh food.More

I felt like eating indian street food, but didn't expect the taste to be so flavorful! The beautiful host/owner is not indian, but cooks up some awesome stuff. the potato patties were simply mouthwatering. Loved the taste. though the Falooda wasn't as authentic, but i...finished it till the last drop. The place is just basic ambiance, but i am sure to go there to try out some more flavours. If you are in downtown and want to try indian street food, you may try this.More
