I had the Huevos Rancheritos which was so so good. I will get it again. It consisted of 3 poached eggs covered in a tomato/salsa type of sauce, black beans, guacamole and a warm tortilla. So delish. Great flavours. I liked the athmopshere and the decor as well. Service was great as well. Good value.

I came on a Tuesday morning, around 9am, there were plenty of free tables. It did fill up as we ate, and by the time we left at 10.15, the queue was out the door, so yes, it gets busy. But there's a good reason for that, the food is excellent. I had a delicious Huevos Migas, it was superb.... More

Lady Marmelade were a very nice to be back in North America. Very colorful and peaceful place with nice fresh juice (beets apple and ginger) and breakfast menu. I got a very nice boiled eggs with bacon and a great salad. The bread were awesome and apparently the eggs with pulled pork with hollandaise sauce were awesome ! Long line... More

Maybe I heard too much good thing about this place so I went in with high expectation. I ordered egg Benny, the eggs were cooked nicely, I just wish the presentation could be less messy(the picture was taken after I fixed it up a bit). Overall the dining experience was nothing to write home about. The rundown interior and cheap... More

This place has a unique and modern breakfast menu. They specialize in bennies for those who fancy. The furniture was vintage with character and service made me feel I was part of the community. If you want to stray away from standard breakfast franchises like Eggsmart and Sunset Grill, this is the place for you.

The breakfast food is good. The waits are long during the week and even longer at the weekend. That's just the wait in line for a table. Then there's the wait for the food. The service is pleasant and friendly but so slow. Don't underestimate that amount of time that you'll be there. The food is good though....... that's why... More

I have attempted on multiple occasions to come here for breakfast and/or brunch. Every single time the wait was ludacris. Weekends are busy everywhere in the area - fair enough. The fact that I have attempted multiple times now to just get take-out on a weekday - and be told "sorry, it will be at least an hour" - is... More

I would not return to this place anytime in winter...after 30 minutes of waiting outside on minus 8c and windy conditions we waited another 15 minutes inside. The place was fully booked and service was a bit slow. The menu was simple and food burnt. My family was reasonable happy I would not come back with so many nicer restaurants... More

I can see this is a hipster place, and has been featured in several publications in Toronto (it's how I found out about it after all), but not sure as to why there is a big wait to eat there. Food is excellent for sure, but despite the many varieties of Eggs Benedict (Mango one was the best!), and other... More

I came here solo recently for brunch/lunch. I luckily didn't have to wait but there was a large line-up the entire time I was there. I ordered the lemonade and the eggs benny with avocado, brie and bacon. It was excellent. I also quite enjoyed their hot sauce as well. Note- this place is cash only but there is a... More

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
