The best brunch place I've ever been to. Great food, great coffee. Just go early, the place is very busy, you might end getting a line. Even though, it's worth it.

I finally had an opportunity to go here and really enjoyed the food and ambiance. It is pricy but the quality and service is worth it. I ordered the Krispy crunchy French toast and the wife ordered the smoked salmon. The orders are big enough to share so I got to try both and they were awesome. Also ordered their... More

Found School by Googling "best breakfasts in Toronto" and I was not let down. I was served the Black n Blue Flapjacks with a side of Bacon. Absolutely delicious. You have to have a pretty impressive appetite to finish it but it was so enjoyable. I went on a weekday morning and got a seat straight away. The very helpful... More

School is a place that I have heard to be delicious for brunch in the city. I always see the most decadent photos of their pancakes and other starchy-delicious plates on Instagram; however, due to allergies I cannot eat them (wish I could though). Regardless, I did a little bit of research before my visit there with 2 girlfriends for... More

This place is amazing, food is creative and delicious and they even have some cookies and other baked goods that you can purchase and take home with you. The line is really long on the weekends and they won't seat you until your whole party has arrived, but I think it's worth it! They play cartoons on the TVs and... More

Super neat setting with a really cool menu. Had the flap jacks with maple syrup and wild berries - to die for! Great place to hang with friends and have some really great food. A must see.

We found this place by accident (using the Google maps 'near us' app). We loved it! The wait staff are excellent, the food even better! We had the French Toast (incredible!) and The Safe Bet. I think our favourite was the side of bacon. I've never had bacon like that before...by far the best ever!!!

They work well at providing an atmosphere with small tables, the school bell on opening and lots of sweet school touches. We liked that. The brunch menu was just right... not too many items, but a wide enough choice. The portion sizes however were shockingly small. Half a waffle with a scrambled egg, eight blueberries, two miniscule bits of bacon... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
