Yesterday we have had an awesome dinner, it was our first time at Korean restaurant and it was surely excellent! We got the all you can eat (about $19.95 mix of fish and meat), the food was nice for this reason we had 4 rounds and the staff have looked after us vert well

I had the buffet today and it consisted of raw thinly sliced meat that you cook yourself on a grill in the middle of the table. The beef chicken and pork was great. The salmon was OK but it sticks on the grill and makes everything taste fishy afterwards. If your grill gets too dirty you can ask for it... More

We phoned this place to find out if the 24 of us can fit in for lunch yesterday. As we walked from our hotel, we realized we were not only starving but we we're all thirsty as well due to the sunny warm weather. As we came in, we were seated right away at 2 long tables; 20 people grabbed... More

Don't be fooled by the photos on their website, this place is dingy with unappetizing and sometimes over-priced food. we both had lunch boxes, which came with rice so compacted that it was just a glutinous, tasteless mess. My squid was flavourful (i.e. salty), but my partner's salmon was fatty, oily and looked suspiciously unlike salmon. It was also 1.5... More

This is my favourite. Both in terms of Korean eats and location. Good service, good value. Although a chain of restaurants, I think it's the best Korean BBQ ever!

The Korean Grill House is a fun place to eat - especially during the week for lunch, as the restaurant is not crowded in the least. We enjoyed Special Bibimbap (Spicy) & Chicken Bibimbap (Spicy). Great food, Great service, Low prices!! WOW!!

I like this place but at the same time it has a few problems. First of all it always smells like bleach here, I understand that they have to soak the grills in it, but bleach smell reminds me of washrooms, so right away I have gag reflex when I come here. The service here is non existent, most servers... More

We went for dinner to this all-you-can-eat Korean restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto. The place was very busy and so we were seated upstairs in a big room with bench seating in the middle and smaller tables round the edge. The customers were all youngish and generated a lot of noise, however we soon acclimatised. The food was... More

This was a nice surprise. The ingredient were good and tasty, little fatty as guilt food and lots of variety. Good kimchi. Fast service. The place was packed. Usually a good sign the locals eat here. If you are looking for it, its here. Good value. Happy life.

We did not enjoy this place at all. We opted for the AYCE meat at dinner. The quality of the meat was so poor and had so much fat on it. The chicken was mostly skin with little meat. The kimchi, pickled radish, and beef broth were all enjoyable. I also didn't like that you were encouraged to use the... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
