We had reservations for a late seating on Saturday night and were lucky enough to be seated on the delightful side patio. Pretty strings of lights and a large space heater kept us comfortable even in the cooling evening. Our server was Krista. She was...More

Keystone Alley is right across the street from The Studio theater, making it the perfect spot for pre-play lunch or dinner. Our party of four had lunch there and very much enjoyed the local produce and specialties. Portion sizes are generous. It's also vegetarian and...More

Since this restaurant reopened during the last year, it has become a favorite with visitors and theater patrons alike. The outside patio strattles the "Alley" between the restaurant and the adjoining building. The extendable awnings makes its an ideal spot. The menu is not overwhelming...More

The food and the service were fantastic. The duck liver pate is a treat. The menu, while not extensive, is very thoughtful. We'll definitely be back.

Lunch at Keystone was busy but efficient. The menu satisfied all of us from 8-80 years old. Especially impressive were the quiche, platter, steak frites and fish and chips. The poppyseed lemon dessert is worth returning for many times. The location is ideal: minutes walk...More

Fast, friendly service. We had the hippie salad and the mezza plate. Tasty fresh and healthy. The alley patio was delightful. Packed before the 2pm theatre, reservations wise.

For three decades The Keystone Alley Café has continually evolved, from its start as a small coffee shop into the popular casual fine dining restaurant that you see today. The Keystone Alley Cafe was named after the well-known Keystone Bakery located on these premises earlier. The 'alley' in the current name describes the area adjacent to the restaurant used for patio dining in the summer months. The Keystone Alley Cafe strives to provide a family style menu of fresh, bold flavoured foods, while supporting locally and sustainably. Over the years, many improvements have been made, including the addition of the "Key'd Inn", a spacious two bedroom suite rental situated above the restaurant.
