If you don't have a patio in Ottawa your restaurant isn't worth going to. Check the weather channel and open up for the potentially busiest day of your week, ended up going to jack Astor's down the road.. Great bartender Kelly though

My wife and I just returned from a birthday lunch at the Lone Star Café. We both LOVE Mexican food and have been on a quest for The World's Best Burrito for many years. It's not here... We sat on the lovely patio overlooking the experimental farm and the beautiful view. Our waiter, "longhorn" offered up fresh tortillas chips -... More

A noisy place with affable servers and standard Tex-Mex fare. Plenty of food for everyone, and even my teenagers got enough to eat. Prices a bit high but then again the atmosphere is fun and no one will notice if your kids are noisy.

We had dinner there last night. I had a steak and my son had fajitas. We go a few times a year to this restaurant. Last night the food was good as usual, but the service was not, there was several really large groups there, and staff seemed occupied with those tables.

The fajitas are always good, I love them so much I never get anything else. My daughter love's how they give dough balls to play with (You typically have to ask for them) they don't seem to have colouring for kids, or at least have never oferred it to us when we've been there over the years (odd when kids... This place always delivers a great dining experience. Famous for their fajitas, the friendly tex-mex themed restaurant is a great place for a group or family. On the loud side, it is also a fun place for all ages. If it is your birthday you will be subject to a variety of indignities, including an attention-drawing chorus of Happy Birthday... More

Good food, a little too loud but the food makes it worthwhile. The aroma is entising and stays with you. The severs are all excellent, and friendly.

Subtle it ain't. From the country/western music blaring on the speakers, to the fake Texas accents of the wait staff, to the "authentic" decor (mainly cacti and road signs with rusty bulletholes), this place is in your face. That being said, if you're looking for tasty Tex-Mex, this is it. They grill everything over real mesquite fire. Fajitas are the... More

This is an Ok Mexican restaurant. the best thing are their natchos chips and Salsa. On the other hand, the service is really not great.
