Was told via email while booking that a group of 20 people could get a private area in the back where they have reserved seating. Arrive in person and am told I don't have enough guests? Food is very good, however bar service is poor...and the waitress for a group of 20 was always gone, so people had to wait long for their bills. Waitress accidentally dropped a half full glass of beer on my leg and just walked away without saying anything.More

Thank you for ruining our night and my wife's birthday. Your staff are either heartless or brainless. Told us about 20 minutes wait so we stood outside with two toddlers waited probably 30 minutes. Everybody in the line got in including those behind us as...they were smaller groups. Kids were getting hungry and tired and so were we. I thought they could have asked those who have finished and already paid the bill to move to another table so that we can get a proper table to sit with our kids. Instead, they told us that the kitchen was closing soon and there won't be any table available for us tonight!! What a joke!!! This is how you play your customers with young children??!!!! And on someone's birthday???!!!! We remember last time was also very bad. After a long wait to get our table, the server took our drink order and then disappeared. We left without getting anything. We will NEVER ever come back and will warn others to stay away from this awful place!!More

settled in by the window to enjoy a meal before leaving Ottawa. Service was friendly but slow, but the steak and salad/veggies was terrific and exactly what we were looking for.

I went in not knowing what to expect except a lot of beers on tap. They have indeed, but the food was surprisingly good. Had steak with yukon gold mash, vegs and gravy. Wow, very tasty

I had just arrived in Ottawa and walked around town on a Tuesday afternoon looking for a spot with some life in it and this is the place I found. It was busy, as a bar should be at happy hour (around 5pm). Friendly bartenders,...good beer and a nice ambience. The wings were pretty tasty too. It was close to my hotel downtown, so that was a plus too. I ended up going a second night for a couple of beers after work.More

Given it was a Saturday night in February after Winterlude, I expected the place to empty. It was not, a lot groups, etc. Got seated the place is really big. Given how busy it was the service was good. They have an amazing selection of...beers. As for food, my son had the calamari, chicken schnitzel and a burger, I had the chef’s special, Arctic char. All the food was amazing, we be back again.More

Stopped in during Winterlude for a snack. Sat at the bar and received excellent service. Ordered the board with 5 items. Everything was fantastic but the jalepeno cheddar sausage was the star of the board. Waitress/bartenders were friendly and attentive. The ambiance inside was intimate...and well-decorated. Apparently they no longer offer live music.More
