I went with a group of 10 people. It was a first time experience for most of us but me; I had gone when they were at the old location near Billings Bridge. The restaurant got progressively busy as dinner went on. This place gets bad reviews in terms of service. I can understand why -- dinner service was really... More

A buffet of meat and vegetables that you cook at your table in your own fondue pot! Pick your soup base. I like the spicy one best. Order your main meat (beef or lamb), then head to the buffet table to pick the rest of your meats and vegetables. Lots of unique Asian items. Don't forget to make your dipping... More

I went there on Saturday night. Everything improved I must say no more sticky and slippery floor compare to the old one they had in Bank street location. Food are very fresh. Many varieties to choose for the sauce .... Services are excellent and fast and friendly with smiles. I will definitely go again with friends.

The new location is a huge upgrade from the old one. I was able to pay with visa as of August. Paying cash is an option if you want to get certain soft drinks for free. Keeping in mind that these waiters are all asians (international students per se) with not-so-perfect English and probably no proper training on how to... More

The setting of the stove is more for individuals. If you want to share a big pot, it'd be awkward because the pot cannot be placed in the middle. Someone would have to stand up all the time to cook/get the food. The selection is not bad but definitely less than advertised. Not all the items listed on the web/menu... More

The service is very slow, they don't bring the complete orders. They tell you after 2 hours that they don't dessert "but you can have spring rolls". Very bad service and staff. I observed that tables with Asians families were getting 100% great customer service but if you are not asian(I hate making this remarkable but it's true) prepare to... More

We had been wanting to try this concept for a while: cooking our own, all we can eat food in hot broth. I admit I can't compare this location to another hot pot restaurant, but I was really disappointed. Here are some of the problems: 1. Service was extremely erratic and generally unprofessional. (Food dropped, communication difficulty, inattentive, and overwhelmed)... More

Out of all the places I've eaten this place has the WORST service! Server never bothered to explain how things worked. Tried to ask questions to clarify but his English was subpar so he had a hard time understanding simple questions. Ordered our food and dishes were missing. Re-ordered the missing food plus more and we didn't even get half... More

This restaurant changed locations and is now located on Merivale Road. Having been to the old location, I was excited to try the new (and clean) spot. Unfortunately it wasn't great. First of all, the new location is very nice and clean. So the first impression is good. However there is a sign on the door saying the take cash... More

With 36 spices and ingredients in our original soup base recipe, our flavorful broth is sure to satisfy every single one of your taste buds. The highest quality meats ranging from lamb, beef, pork, and poultry are sliced perfectly to cook within seconds of touching the simmering broth. When the mouth-watering scent of our hot pot hits you, you'll be hooked for sure! For vegetarians, we offer leafy greens, mushrooms, and other vegetables that perfectly complement our famous broth. Seafood lovers will also not be left out with our fresh seafood list. Mongolian Hot Pot serves as the forerunner to the modern fondue.
