This is a very convenient place for soup and a sandwich while visiting the National Gallery of Canada. The buffet style makes for a quick and easy meal. The setting is bright and airy with large windows to enjoy views of Ottawa.

I think the best thing about it was the simply stunning views, and that there were very comfy and private seats was a bonus as well. The service was impeccable and friendly. The Smoked Duck appetizer was very nice, perfectly made and very generous portion of smoked duck. The Lemon Tart, was good but sadly too custardy. I was hoping... More

Good little spot with a lovely view. I believe there is a Weekend Brunch available but reservations may be necessary.

Nice cafe ,prefect after hours of walking thru museums's endless rooms. lovely place, choice of salads, sandwiches and soup. you would expect something really fancy in museum but it is not, very ordinary, pick up your tray, pick item and go to cash..

Mediocre food, harried service, and terribly understaffed. An unsatisfactory experience on all fronts. It's the National Gallery for crying out loud, shape up people...

Love love love the outdoor vibe to this indoor restaurant, from the back of an old building being one of the four walls to the glass paneled 3 story high roof to the all white colour palette and the indoor trees, it is very fresh and bright and airy. Would defo recommend for a light coffee while seeing the museum... More

The view is quite splendid, with the Parliament Building in full view. We had afternoon coffee/tea and a biscotti. Very good of their kind.

One of the best views in Ottawa of the Parliament Hill and tasty affordable food. Great place to drop in when you are visiting the Gallery. Self serve well managed.

I believe that this this place should be featured more often as a good place to eat a small meal at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa if only because of the fine selection of sandwiches, soup, salads and drinks. But there is more to it than this. Quality art accompanies good food in a place that is an... More

The Great Hall is open yet the Café remains closed. This was such a beautiful space to enjoy a glass of wine mid Gallery visit. The food had come a long way as well. I was really looking forward to seeing what the chef had planned next. Seems like you were on the right track! Why hasn't it opened yet?
