Been a fan for many years...worth the drive to Ottawa...a different experience choose your own noodles, meats, veggies and xtras as well as your favorite sauce. Never the same experience...you can change it up a bit each time. The price of your meal is the weight of the items in your bowl. I always get xtra to bring home leftovers.... More

An unusual way to select your meal...................choose from a "buffet" of salads, vegetables, noodles, meats, seafood. Pile it up in one bowl, add sauces and have it weighed - this will determine the cost - then see it being cooked- actually stir-fried . Meals include rice and soup. Great selections, friendly service, great beer and a great conversation starter if you... More

The concept here is great. It's a buffet-style of raw food where you pile your choices into a bowl including noodles, veggies, meats, seafood, sauces, etc. You can also order appetizers separately but I have never tried them. It only takes a few minutes to cook the food all together (Asian style) and you get unlimited white rice, rice roll... More

My wife wanted stir fry so we decided to give this a try. There's a good assortment of food items, meats, seafood and noodles. Lots of sauces also. Price is based on weight and it adds up quickly. We paid $81 for three of us including tip and soft drinks. If you're not set on noodles save the weight and... More

Used to go there a lot with my friends and now brought my sister from out of town. Always excellent as long as you like stir frys. Exactly as I want it everytime cause I choose what I want in it! The veggies are not cut too big and meat is well cut. Went to another one before and the... More

Can't say anything bad about this place. You get a small bowl of soup then you go to the ingredients section, grab a bowl & put whatever ingredients & sauces you want in it, mount it as high as you want. They then weigh it (you pay by weight). The cook then cooks your bowl of food & brings it... More

A friend & I went after work on a Tuesday. Unfortunately the restaurant was very understaffed and it took a long time to get our drinks. The hot & sour soup is good. Once our main meals arrived, I realized after biting into a piece of squid that I wasn't cooked.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Mongolian Village East in late June. The service was good with the food being even better. As others have stated, this is a "make up your own stir fry meal" restaurant. Prices depend on the total weight of the food you've chosen. The variety of vegetables, noodles, and meats was excellent. There were... More

The concept of selecting your food in advance is very appealing. You basically select the veggies, noodles, protein and sauce. Place it in a bowl. Get it weighed. And someone else cooks it for you. Sounds great when you don't wish to buy all of the ingredients, cook and wash the dishes! At the end of the day, the food... More

The food isn't exceptional and frankly, it's a little pricey. I did learn however that you get a small discount if your bowl is vegetarian so that something to consider. It's still an enjoyable place to have lunch in a pinch and there's something for everyone.
