Out first visit to The Pie Plate. We had a great server. The asparagus, pesto, ricotta pizza was amazing. Next time I want to get some of their butter tarts.

The Pie Plate is a great venue, small and intimate but large enough for several tables. The food is impeccable and so very fresh. There is also a bakery attached where you can take your favourites home. Highly recommend stopping at this little gem!

We were looking for a simple quick lunch in between our wine tastings and this place fit the bill. Great home made food at a great price and just the right portion. I had the guiness meat pie, and my two friends had the chicken and mushroom pie and also pizza. Everyone loved the food and the price. We didn't... More

We were referred to this cafe with the explanation to watch for the sign and that it was a house and we may drive by. This a funky cafe with a good vibe and food was good too! Try the Book Queen Pizza and their soup of the day and their savoury pies. Small but worth it.

A bit out of the way, this little house is a hidden fine. The rustic and quirky restaurant offers a bakery on one side and a bar/restaurant on the other. Food is served quickly, made right before your eyes while sitting at the counter or close by at the window tables. Everyone is friendly and for a fine take away... More

We bought a strawberry rhubarb pie for a family gathering and it was delicious. Just the look of it was enticing, but the tart and sweet combination of the filling was even better. We bought it on a Thursday and it kept fresh until Saturday when we served it. We were going to buy the coconut cream pie, but we... More

My husband and I stopped in to the Pie Plate on a day trip we were taking in the area. After reading the positive reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to try it out. My husband ordered the Captain 's pizza and I ordered a slice of the savoury tart that came with a side salad. I wish I had... More

My husband and I drove by The Pie Plate while heading back from touring wineries to our hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We saw a sweet little house, with people eating outside on a porch, and a sign that said "The Pie Plate." We thought, "We like pie! Why not grab a slice?" Two and a half hours later, we had eaten... Visited the pie plate today. While unique food was mediocre. The service was poor. Tables and chairs uncomfortable. Probably won't go again.

Have eaten lunch here on 4 occasions and it was excellent every time. Great service. we had Quiche, grilled ham & cheese with apple butter and amazing squash soup. Brought a cherry pie home and it was excellent.
