Love the fish and chips there always fresh and tasty, the service is great. Just a nice little restaurant owned by a great family.

I ordered Dinner for 3and small gravy and small coleslaw almost $50 and was only enough for 3 kids. Not only that but fries were soggy and fish was mushy. Think I'll go to Frans next time

Switched from my previously favorite chip shop after my first visit. Unlike the thick, doughy batter found in a lot of chip shops, Captain George's has a nice thin, crisp batter. Delicious! I've tried both the haddock and cod - both great. And lots of chips.

This was my first visit to this Captain George's and I chose haddock from the take-out menu. While the staff was accommodating and efficient, the fish was greasy. I cannot comment about the chips because I chose coleslaw instead. The coleslaw was tasty. All in all, not a great dining experience because I ended up with indigestion.

What was I thinking? We went to a place that specializes in fish and chips and I ordered the GYRO platter, which was NOT what I expected.. just the ingredients for the pita wrap.. without the wrap part .. It was NOT a tasty experience. My husband had fish and shrimp and chips.. and he let me have a shrimp..... More

Great spot for lunch... just passed Boston Pizza on the right, southbound on Gardiners Road. Parking lot out back too! Good French fries (real ones) and the clams were very good.

Our server was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. Too bad the food wasn't as good. Very greasy fish. Pretty sure we had an oil slick on our plate. Fries were ok. Coleslaw was the best part.

Located on the west side of Kingston near major box store shopping. Great food, friendly staff, large bright clean. I ate in but take out also available.
