My daughter and I had breakfast here today, before our drive home, and it was so filling I`m still not hungry (5:00). Desperado burrito was filling and not too spicy and the When Nature Calls eggs benny showed us a new way to introduce black beans to breakfast, deliciously. The Stuffed angels were tasty and would have been enough on... More

This small restaurant has big value and excellent food. The decor is very 50s, with chrome suites from my childhood! The menu offers lots of choice, including vegetarian options. Service is friendly and attentive. The meals arrived quickly and were delicious. Although it was too cool to enjoy the outdoor patio, we did eat there last summer and thoroughly enjoyed... More

I liked the nostalgic decor in this fun and funky diner. Service was a little slow, but was friendly nonetheless. He had the John Candy burger with fries. I had the Peter Rowe sandwich - breaded eggplant and portobello mushroom with cheese and marinara sauce. The sandwich tasted good but it seemed like a lot of bread with the breading... More

My wife and I have been going to Jack and Lois since they opened.we have had lunches and craft beer but haven't had their eggs Benedict. They were fantastic, great peameal bacon on fresh muffins with delicious home fries. Included was Relay coffee which is a great blend. This is the best value for breakfast in the city. Our server... The service was very nice, though their new location is quite tacky. The kettle chips that were served to us were still soft in certain spots- we were given two trays, both not cooked evenly. The burger I ordered was the Soprano- "8 OZ. Of Ground Black Angus Beef, Secret Seasoning, Fresh Basil, Tomato, Asiago, Balsamic & Caramelized Onions On... More

Visited this charming little restaurant for breakfast. I ordered the pancakes and they were exquisite. Up there in my top 5 as far as pancakes go. The decor is vintage eclectic and is fun to look at. The back story of the place and their soon to open 2nd location is very cool. Be sure to ask about that. One... More

James, our server, made it very clear "Your diet ends at the door!" Our group of 7 was seated easily as we arrived around 3pm. Menu is filled with so many great choices it made the meal selection difficult but a great excuse to go back and indulge. Burgers, all day breakfast and veal parm were delicious. The eclectic mix... This place is small but awesome, we only had drinks, but the choice of beer and spirits was awesome! The food coming out of the kitchen looked incredible, I am mostly commenting on the decor, it's like walking in someone's house in 1974. Tables are old, chairs are old, wall decor is awesome! It's meant to look this way and... More

Got there just in time to miss the lunch lineup (who knew there'd be a lunch lineup on a Thursday?!). The decor is homely-chic, the food was very tasty, and the service was good (if a bit slow because there was only 1 server). Cool part of town that's gentrifying- take the time to walk around and stop in some... More
