Met up with a friend for drinks and dinner. The restaurant is well located downtown and there’s lots of parking beside and across the street from the restaurant. If you have mobility challenges, there are steps up to the front door and make sure to book a table on the main floor as the upper floor is only accessible by a long staircase. There are specials each night and Thursdays are half priced wine nights with all bottles on the menu marked down. They also have a great selection of local and regional beers on tap. We arrived around 6pm and it took them a good five minutes to acknowledge us at the door and a few more minutes to seat us, which suggests they are understaffed. I started with the oysters - six raspberry points for $20 - while the others had the pear and blue cheese salad. I loved the house mignonette they served with the oysters, very tasty. The salads looked good, but both my wife and my friend complained that they was too much onion overpowering the dish. For the mains, I got the California bowl with tuna, avocado, edamame, pineapple and sticky rice, coated with a spicy drizzle. Again, the spicy drizzle overpowered the taste of the tuna. The others had the stuffed Yorkers that had beef with crispy onions on Yorkshire pudding and they enjoyed them. Overall, it was a good but not great meal.

We were in search of a restaurant close to the hospital & Google lead us here. We were short on time & spoke with our Server about the need to be out of there quickly. She assured us it wouldn't be an issue & wasn't. She went out of her way to make it a great & quick dining experience! Food was great. I really enjoyed CRANBERRY & BRIE FLATBREAD Leek Pesto / Pickled Cranberry / Brie / Roasted Pear / Arugula / Red Onion / Rosemary Honey. So tasty!

Previous visits to BSS were satisfying but as a Vegan, last evening's vegan Cesar salad and kimchi fries were less so. The salad was about three quarters kale with a bit of romaine, and fewer pieces of tofu than usual. Kale Cesar? No, it was not good. The kimchi fries were overdone (and they're already the shoestring variety) as to be inedible. Others enjoyed their meat, and big mac tofu burgers, but all were disappointed in their overcooked fries. There are vey few places, surprisingly, in Guelph to get a decent vegan meal and Baker Street Station has been a go to for us, but I'm hesitant to head back there any time soon.

Food was terrible. Will never return. The server was pleasant but waited an 1.5 for dinner and food was over cooked. What dummy toasts the top of a hamburger bun. Just a terrible experience. Men's bathroom was out of order to boot.

Thought we would check this place out again after many years. Went for Father’s Day dinner. Service was very slow, despite them not being busy. Waitress did not highlight specials. They were on a board, outside of our view. Not knowledgeable about beer on tap. Finally ordered, only to be told my choice was no longer available. Picked a second option.. and she had to check if that was available. It wasn’t. Server did not mention limited availability when we sat down. Mediocre food. The options sound a lot better on the menu than in reality. Husband ordered a second beer… waited 15 mins and it was brought after we finished the meal. No apology from waitress. Will not be visiting anytime soon or ever again. With all the new establishments coming into Guelph, there are many better options.

On line, menu looked good. Order: 6 oysters. Very good and fresh. Prime Rib, ordered medium rare. Arrived, seriously overdone. Texture and dryness of shoe later. Green beans well coed. Mashed potao. Yorkshire pudding weighed about 4 oz..inedible. Chimney stack pie..beef cooked with stout/ porter. Sweet..needed balancing. No salt or pepper on table. No horseradish on plate or supplied. Waitress checkback took 10 minutes..then salt and pepper. Beefwas replaced at r no charge. Basically, the menu ismisleading..this is basically a pub food place, and probably does good food of that kind. Service is cheerful, but not adequate. Also, unless you either specify or, as l did, threaten to leave, the dining room s up a long flight of stairs. I will point out that they didnt have to cook the oysters..

Had the pomegranate salad, korean chicken and goat cheese beignets. All were delicious, the beignets (battered and deep fried chunks of goat cheese served with honey) were a real treat. A cut above the usual pub food. Handy curbside pick up.

We went on a Sunday for lunch. Firstly, they take their Covid protocols strictly (which is good) examining our documentation carefully. No reservations, first come first served. We were seated upstairs and served efficiently by Hannah. It was loud, as expected in a pub atmosphere. There is an extensive beer list and other drinks as well but no takers in our group. We tried the fish and chips (a huge piece of fish), Korean fried chicken (almost too much of a good thing with lots of spicy scallions ) and the burger and fries (comes with a large salad AND fries). All were large portions, tasty and hot. We were all stuffed, especially after truffle and parm fries to start! Very interesting flavors with unique twists on the normal pub fare. A great lunch.

I first heard about this place through Food Network's "You Gotta Eat Here!" I approached it with high expectations, and the food lived up to my expectations. The first time I went I had the baker street burger which was tasty, but the second time I had the tandoori fried chicken and it was even better. I definitely recommend this dish. Apart from the food, the service is also great. The people are nice and the inside is clean. The wait for the food isn't too long, but it's busier on the weekends than the weekdays.

I will keep this simple, it's a fun place, lots of different kinds of beers! Some whiskeys too. The burger was good, not sure why people go crazy about it. Bottom line, good times to be had at Baker Street. I recommend it.

I love Baker Street Station! The service is always on point, friendly, and prompt. The food is delicious and well worth treating yourself. The bartender on my most recent visit, Keira, was fantastic at her job and is super attentive. Highly recommended!

Unsure if we would even get a table on a Friday night we ventured down anyhow. We were seated in what would have once been empty space alongside the building. They had wonderful shade coverings and a giant heater by each table. Honestly it was a great inside-outside space. Kudos to the restaurant for creatively using this additional space. The place had a Good Friday night vibe. Food was excellent. Our two choices were the club sandwich and butter chicken curry. Both excellent. An Elora Shine IPA was recommended and it too was excellent. Good marks all around Baker Street!

Don’t ever change this recipe! Huge portion and the additional fresh cheese sprinkled was a great idea. Good selection of craft beer and service was great.

During this COVID we realize things are different, however what food to season and what should Not should be a basic concept. We went for dinner ordered deep fried pickles, goat cheese deep fried balls, I ordered Fish and Chips and as our favorite "go-to" we split the Hot sticky pudding for dessert. The appetizers were good, deep fried perfectly, lots of crunch and flavour. The fish and chip dinner... Well... There was one large piece of fish, golden brown good size, lots of fries, and a red cabbage slaw. The red cabbage slaw was invited to the party and came in abundance but the poor thing forgot to get dressed. Raw red cabbage and onions with no dressing, kinda gross. The fish looked amazing, thick piece of fish, but the over powering of pepper was just too much. My husband who likes spicy things tried and was taken back by the volumn of pepper under the coating of the fish ---- could not eat it. The sticky toffee pudding was a huge disappointment, it was simply spice cake mix with caramel and ice cream. That is not true sticky toffee. No fruit, no currents, no raisins.. Just a disappointment. Would I go back... NO, the price of the items, I expected so much more. Don't invite a red cabbage slaw to a dinner plate and not do something with it..
