Great place to drop by for an earl lunch. Wide variety of bagels and different flavours of crème cheese. Bagels are always fresh. Prices are reasonable.

I find the bagels not to my taste. I prefer more traditional style bagels. Would eat here if it's the only place available in a pinch. Bagel World is my first choice for bagels.

Love Great Canadian Bagels !! I will never understand why way too many of them have closed down. The options of bagel flavours are plenty, selection of different cream cheeses delicious and coffee passable (but better than TH) with regular, decaf and flavoured options. They serve breakfast sandwiches on bagels including a peameal bacon option which is delicious. My two... More

The place was good. The kids were happy. It's nothing fancy but was a nice change from the mall. I would go again.

It is what it is, a bagel shop. Not good but not bad. Could they be better? For sure! Staff seem to be mostly students that try real hard and and it shows as they do a great job. If you like bagels then it may just be your thing. Would I go back? Yes, if no other choices were... More

Without going into an extended debate about the merits of Montreal versus New York bagels, the Great Canadian bagels are in fact really great… both the traditional and also the extensive range of inventive non-traditional variations. (Especial kudos to whomever invented the “Tomazzo” bagel which is a small meal in itself.) Can't say “best ever” bagels, but certainly right up... More

The Great Canadian Bagel makes the most flavourful and wide variety of bagels I have ever seen! The bagels are so good that they are 100% edible on their own, no cream cheese or toaster even needed (although the selection of cream cheese is also quite delectable). In fact, I can't even keep these bagels in my house long enough... More

I decided to stop in the the GCB because it is one of the few left in Ontario. I ordered my bagel and I could see it was on fire in the toaster. When it came out (after the girl kept poking it) she scraped the charr off and started to butter it. I asked her for an unburnt bagel,... More

The food is amazing! Great fresh baked bagels and cream cheeses. But I never go there anymore because I tried one day of working there and didn't enjoy the way I was treated.

The bagels are always so fresh. Go early enough and they are piping hot. Plenty of different types from whole wheat to french toast. Friendly and prompt service. I love this place.
