We've been here 4 or 5 times whenever we stop over in Barrie. Menu has plenty of great options and we always enjoy sharing the Chef's Platter which is a sample of the appetizers. Service has been excellent each time.

Six of us for dinner....all with different meals. Everything was brought out at the same time, nice and hot, and each one delicious, including rack of lamb, salmon, pasta dishes. The appetizers were great as well, having had the boston pear salad, and bang bang shrimp.

Food was OK at best...the risotto tasted like under cooked white cheddar macaroni and cheese. Our server was slow, very slow, very unprofessional and actually asked us if we were 'pretty cool people' because she wanted us to move to another table while we were halfway through our main course (which we agreed was pretty off-putting and ruined what was... After reading rave reviews on the restaurant on Trip Advisor we thought it was time to give the restaurant a try. It started with overcooked rolls that were hard as rocks. The appetizer " Chefs Creation, was promoted for 2 persons ( 18 dollars), but there was two items on platter that were only single pieces each ( shrimp cocktail... More

Crazy Fox is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. Four of us dined there for lunch. The fish and chips were outstanding. Lightly battered fish and crisp fries. The sea food crepe had quite a bit of cheese. The filling was a tasty and plentiful fish combo. The menu is broad enough to satisfy any craving. the wine list... More

Food good, service good, and charming great location was given a gift card to this restaurant, I felt we were underdressed, I thought it would be a bistro type pub but I was wrong went in shorts and tee shirt, I will go there again in trousers and shirt, but they did make me feel welcome.

The crazy fox is a snobbish over rated restaurant in a bad location on busy Bayfield street. I went here for a nice dinner during the cities Barrielicious event. After making a reservation and arriving the concierge asked if I would be eating off of the regular menu or the Barrielicious menu. When I said that I wasnt sure, they... More

We attended on the last day of Barrielicious and took part of the special $25 three course meals. They have a new salad containing pork loin which is absolutely fantastic. This salad is being put on the regular menu by popular demand. My wife and I both ordered the chicken. My wife's chicken was great. Mine was chewy. I mentioned... More

We stopped in after a long swim in the Barrie area. Our server Leslie was a blast to deal with. She was very attentive throughout our dinner. The food arrived quickly and hot. It came directly to the table as soon as it was prepared. We plan to return in the fall when the menu does not reflect the Summer... More

From start to finish my experience coordinating with Lawna for my husbands surprise 60th birthday went flawless. A special menu for 16 people was arranged and everything on it was outstanding. Love the easy going atmosphere, the staff were very pleasant and the service couldn't have been better. The melt in your mouth bursting with flavour Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon... More
