We enjoyed a lovely Sunday dinner. Breadbasket had two types of bread homemade oatcakes and crackers. Coffee was delicious. My husband had the French onion soup which was great. I had the leak and potato soup which had a delicious flavor. We each had the special which was pork medallions with cranberry apricot glaze with baked potato oven roasted potatoes... More

Started with the escargot, totally excellent, the best I have ever had. The scallop casserole was out of this world! Was on vacation, and just cannot order scallops anywhere else now, I must get the recipe somehow! The vegetables were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Uncle Leo's Red beer on tap, was fantastic. Five stars!

Joined with family and friends to celebrate a fantastic couples wedding. Besides the head table there were 4 tables with approximately 40 plus guests. Wine was served and then delicious warm bread. This was followed by a Caesar salad which was very tasty, a slice of lemon and real Parmesan cheese on romaine, with bacon bits. Next was the main... More

But if you are looking for a fine meal with creative ingredients, offered at a slow pace and lovely... More

Food, service and beer were excellent. All dishes were fresh and well prepared. Tried the daily soup and the haddock special - both were great. The beer was a house brew, which was very good.

Top notch food and ambiance. Hostess was very friendly, pleasing and professional. We went for my special birthday and a special birthday for a friend and were joined to others. We all enjoyed our meal and intend to go back as soon as we can. They even took our picture and gave us a copy.

Piper's is by far my favorite dining experience anywhere in Nova Scotia, from the warm welcome, the atmosphere, the servers, the presentation of the food and of course the food. Yes, it may take some time to receive your order, but you cannot rush perfection!!!!! The Lobster stuffed mushroom caps are amazing, HIGHLY recommend, as well as the striploin and... More
