Visited Salty's downstairs venue. Good service and food. Portions adequate. Prices moderate. Lovely view of the harbour. Restaurant upstairs is fine dining and more expensive.

We were a group of 5 and we all had the fish and chips and a few of us had the lobster chowder and the seafood chowder. All of it was good but not exceptional. We were quoted the wrong price for the lobster chowder by the waiter. He said it cost $13.99 and it was really $16.99. A little... More

Location is excellent. The food, we found average. Restaurant's on the pricey end but they have an excellent patio with harbour views and and awesome location. Hotel staff recommend Salty's all the time and you can't miss their giant billboard, but if you have a car and don't mind the drive, there are other places (such as Willman's) who will... More

My friend and I wanted to grab a cocktail by the water on a sunny May afternoon. While the view was beautiful, everything else was super disappointing. I wanted a mojito and my friend wanted a Bloody Mary. It took them about 15 minutes to come back with our drinks. The mint in my mojito wasn't muddled, and there was... More

I was at Salty's on a cold, dreary April evening. The dense fog obscured the view of the harbour. I can imagine that it would be a very different experience during the summer months. I ate downstairs in the bar rather than in the dining room upstairs. I had the Granite Peculiar Yorkshire Style Ale, seafood chowder, and crab cakes.... More

We had the most perfect view ,top floor middle window table . If making reservations request this table. Food was very good service was very good . But we had been the day before at the bicycle thief and it had been exceptional. So as a comparison it was just a tad lower rating .

My colleague and I dined last evening at this lovely restaurant. We chose to eat in the upstairs dining room - there is a bar/lounge on the ground floor. We were seated in a sort of alcove jutting out above the lower level roof that had 180 degree view of the harbour. I ordered seafood chowder, panko-crusted haddock, and warm... More

We had a great water view from our table. Salty's is in a great location. We ate downstairs which is more of a pub style. Menu was ok, not extensive. The waiter was very short with us and a bit rude. The prices and food were also ok. Nothing great, there are a lot of restaurants to choose from in... More
