It was a fun night and the multi-talented group moved at a frantic pace. They entertained, served food and drink and cleared tables along with putting on a comedy that kept us laughing. The 3-course meal was very good. The seafood chowder was one of...the best I've ever had. The only thing is when we were giving them a standing ovation they left stage/room a little to quickly. Usually performers bow and wave taking the applause. They were great.More

Lots of potential, actors had their moments but lots of pauses during the evening. Food was not great, vegetables were frozen. Wine was good, everyone friendly.

Wow! Where to start? Took my daughters here for an evening of dinner theatre and we had a blast. The food was great, the wedding theme performance was excellent, and the audience had a lot of fun. This family friendly show was a highlight of...our two week road trip through the Maritimes.More

Good food, great entertainment and excellent service. You couldn’t ask for a better evening out enjoying a nice 3 course meal, great service and talented musicians who dance sing and offer up a comedy show all while they are serving the guests. A must do...in Halifax.More

We were so pleased to have been able to make a reservation at the Grafton Street Dinner Theatre for New years Eve. I had not been there before but thought it might be a fun way to bring in the new year. The show was...called Christmas in Killarney and there was a very humorous plot and lots of music. In addition, a four course meal was served (by the theatre cast) which met all expectations. After the show and dinner ws over, they cleared the dining room/theatre and set up for the dance. The same people who had done all the work earlier now were the performing musicians. Talk about being multi talented. I thought that the cost was more than fair for what we got and cannot wait to visit Halifax again and go for another fun evening.More

The show was so much fun...it was a 90's high school reunion show..The performers are also your servers... so the place is so interactive and fun. I had the chicken and my partners had the salmon.. we were all impressed with our meals.. We sat...at a table with four other people..super nice conversation.. Again something I would repeat in a heartbeat.More

Show was great, food was mediocre. Honestly tasted a lot like what I had in mass production at my University's meal hall. Really made me miss Halifax Feast

This is our fourth time in a year going. It was nice to see that cast performing. Christmas in Killarney! They seem to interact with the audience the best. The food as great as usual a bit disappointed they took the minestrone soup off the...menu. Potato soup and seafood soup looked the same. Haddock was great and the show fantastic!More

We had a blast seeing The Sound A Music B'ye at the Grafton Street Dinner Theatre. We were in Halifax over the Labor Day Weekend and it looked like it would be a fun evening out. Who doesn't enjoy a cold beverage served by a...bearded nun? Having been to a few dinner theatres, we expected either a really good play or a really good dinner, but not both. Well, wrongo! Our dinner was excellent. We were a party of four: Three of us had the minestrone - it was tasty and there was just enough - and the braised sirloin, which was melt in your mouth tender and served with tender green beans and perfectly pureed potatoes. One had the seafood chowder (which he mmmmed and wowed his way through) and the salmon. He also very much enjoyed his dinner. For dessert we tried cheesecake (2 of us) and the carrot cake stack. Both were fabulous. The show was lots of fun. We're "from away" but were with a native Haligonian and a transplant to Halifax and they loved the inside jokes and the portrayals of local folks. We plan to visit Halifax again and will try to fit another visit to the Grafton Street Dinner Theatre in when we do (our hosts also said they'd go back for "date night" in the not too distant future. It was a fun night out with good food and fun entertainment. Lots of fun and we were finished early enough to justify a quick stop at the casino on our way home.More

My husband reserved us a dinner for 2 at the theatre. We had been here several years ago, this time it was not so funny but the entertainment was good. The actors are your waiters and waitresses and work very hard. They also did a...good job singing. I hope to return to see another show in the near future to see if it’s any better than this one. This was a Cape Breton version of the sound of music, but not as funny as I hoped it to be.More
