I remember loving this dinner theater however it had been a few years since any of us attended. Honestly overall I would not recommend coming here. The food was flavorless with frozen vegetables - lots of salt and pepper needed. To top it off we...didnt even really get to eat our soup together.. two of our chowders came out and we had to eat it before it got cold because it was like 8 minutes later before our other friend got her soup. We were also done our dessert long before we were offered coffee and even then it was a different server who walked by and saw we didn't have any. I think our server forgot completely. The show itself was just meh. Kind of had the feeling of a high school low budget play. The sound quality was so poor you missed half of the words and singing. Overall honestly I think your money could be better spent for what this is. Super disappointing as we were all looking forward to it.More

Food looks good but no flavor unless you put lots of salt and pepper on it Staff tries to be funny but fails miserably Somebody needs to get them a better sound system so people can actually hear them The show is so so

I am going to be brutally honest here. I have been to the Halifax Dinner Theatre many years ago and actually enjoyed the show. The cast were great and interacted with the audience a lot and the food was meh. Well, went will a group...of friends and we all pretty much agreed that the food was awful. Our bill was $151 of which $30 was alcohol. I had what I thought was the smallest piece of flattened and tasteless chicken breast that was smothered in some sort of gravy. The vegetable were a mixture of frozen vegetables that were not cooked enough. I will admit the potatoes were good. My husband had the roast beef which was very salty and the same for his vegetables. We both had the butternut squash soup. Thank goodness it had some spices in ot otherwise tasteless. The cheesecake was very sweet and I would have liked to have my coffee with my dessert. That came after desert was over and it was cold. Now on to the show, they were too loud at times and at other times not, they were totally out of tune most of the time and could have interacted with the the audience more. I am sorry but for $151 ( plus the drinks before the show) I expected a least a tastier meal. Or sure where the chef went to culinary school. Worst meal ever thank goodness the company was good.More

The staff and the show were very hardworking and awesome! I only gave 4 stars because the food took a long time, perhaps they were understaffed? And the food wasn't very good. We were still happy we went, great acting and music :)

Venue- it is a small setting. The stage is quaint. The seating is comfortable. Show - it is a cute nice with these artists. The cast is varied and hold their own. It is a cute plot at the Whynot family gathering. Meal - it's...a 3 course meal. The appetizer choices were between a seafood chowder or soup. The main had the choices between a beef diner, chicken diner, salmon diner or a vegie diner. We had the salmon and it was really good! Desert was either a chocolate one or a cheesecake. We had the cheesecake and it was excellent. It was a fun night.More

It was a fun night and the multi-talented group moved at a frantic pace. They entertained, served food and drink and cleared tables along with putting on a comedy that kept us laughing. The 3-course meal was very good. The seafood chowder was one of...the best I've ever had. The only thing is when we were giving them a standing ovation they left stage/room a little to quickly. Usually performers bow and wave taking the applause. They were great.More

Lots of potential, actors had their moments but lots of pauses during the evening. Food was not great, vegetables were frozen. Wine was good, everyone friendly.

Wow! Where to start? Took my daughters here for an evening of dinner theatre and we had a blast. The food was great, the wedding theme performance was excellent, and the audience had a lot of fun. This family friendly show was a highlight of...our two week road trip through the Maritimes.More

We were so pleased to have been able to make a reservation at the Grafton Street Dinner Theatre for New years Eve. I had not been there before but thought it might be a fun way to bring in the new year. The show was...called Christmas in Killarney and there was a very humorous plot and lots of music. In addition, a four course meal was served (by the theatre cast) which met all expectations. After the show and dinner ws over, they cleared the dining room/theatre and set up for the dance. The same people who had done all the work earlier now were the performing musicians. Talk about being multi talented. I thought that the cost was more than fair for what we got and cannot wait to visit Halifax again and go for another fun evening.More

The show was so much fun...it was a 90's high school reunion show..The performers are also your servers... so the place is so interactive and fun. I had the chicken and my partners had the salmon.. we were all impressed with our meals.. We sat...at a table with four other people..super nice conversation.. Again something I would repeat in a heartbeat.More

Show was great, food was mediocre. Honestly tasted a lot like what I had in mass production at my University's meal hall. Really made me miss Halifax Feast
