When planning our trip to Yellowknife, I had included Dancing Moose on our list of cafes to visit given all the good TA reviews. We were in Yellowknife for a total of 4.5 days. Every single day we drove to Dancing Moose cafe (with the exception of Monday because as per their website, they are closed), but in fact there... More

I absolutely love this place. In fact, my only complaint is that they are not open for dinner. Having said that, I recently had the opportunity to visit this lovely little cafe for lunch while on business in Yellowknife. The cafe is on the main floor of the Bayside North Bed and Breakfast. The dining room itself is small, with... More

We went there on Monday morning, they open until 11am on Monday, the service was really good, and we had some great waffle and bagel, the fruits were not that fresh, but we just ignored that.

Great Sunday brunch with Eggs Benedict and Cinnamon Bun French Toast. Friendly waitstaff. Right across the street from Old Town Glass Works.

I had 2 breakfasts here while I stayed in the B&B - both excellent! When I stopped at the visitor centre entering Yellowknife by motorcycle I told the young girl there where I would be staying and quickly she said "You're going to like it!" The place was bustling for lunch and dinner which is always a good sign to... More

Went there based on TripAdvisor reviews! Excellent service and the food was delicious. I ordered the omelette (forgot the name, but it's similar to the western omelette). Food arrived quickly. Went there during the week around noon. It was quiet during my visit and was able to pick a water view table. Cinnamon bun was absolutely delicious. A bit expensive... More

I've taken two visiting family members out to eat here. Neither of them are very into "northern" fare like fish or moose so this is a nice place to take someone with a cozy atmosphere and comfort food. The food and the soups are excellent. Love all the art on the walls and there is a nice view of the... More

We stayed at bayside bed and breakfast for 4 nights, and got complimentary breakfast in their restaurant, the Dancing Moose cafe. Each of our breakfast meal was delicious. The waiter was very nice too. We had a lunch in one time and had pickerel fish. It was good but not great. The Pickerel fish that we had at the Bullocks Bistro... More

Awesome Eggs Bennie, staff and service were excellent. The atmosphere is great and the girls keep the coffee cups full. Beautiful view of the Great Slave whether it is summer or winter.

This is also a bed and breakfast. Nice lake side location. Nice decor. Recommended by locals, but I did not like my meal. Fish over cooked, broccoli-spinach soup was thin spinach soup. Also, this cafe was closed at odd times, so it was our third attempt before we found it open.
