This Eastside Marios is probably the best one I've been to. Food - hot and fast prepared with care and attention. Very impressed. Service - fast and friendly, server was very knowledgable and attentive. Atmosphere - one of the nicer Eastside Marios ive seen. Very clean, no dust on the ceiling or ledges. Very unique place. Overall was well worth... More

Stayed at the Holiday Inn and ate at the restaurant on a daily basis, while travelling from Goose Bay to St. John's for doctor visits and hospital stays, for up to 3 weeks at a time. We were always greeted with a friendly smile and a hug when needed. She goes above and beyond to make the service as homely... More

Bada boom Bada bing, East Side Mario's is a wonderful thing on Portugal Cove Road. The company mission at this restaurant is "to be the home of all you can eat", a brazen endeavor in this economy. In this day in age where companies are literally saying 'no' to value, East side Mario's stands in defiance, boldly serving unlimited bread... More

Used to,love this place. Good food. Large portions. Fair prices. Not any more. Went there for dinner. Ordered lasagna. Portion was tiny considering it was almost twenty bucks. Cut into it ....it was filled with water. I learned that it was frozen and heated ... Clearly not long enough. Waitress offered to substitute. Ordered chicken fettichunni Alfredo. Portion was tiny..tiny...tiny.... More

I really wanted to like this restaurant because the service staff was so good but sadly they have been let down by the kitchen. The meals that we ate there over our one week stay ranged from very good to inedible (grossly undercooked). We spoke to the manager about the inconsistent quality and hope that this problem is fixed when... More

A good place to go for happy hour, other than that the food and service is average, but I wouldn't expect anything better from a restaurant around by fortis. It used to be much better years ago when they used real bread real butter and Renée's Caesar salad dressing, all that is gone now because it's too cheap. However the... More

Went there with my son for dinner. The calamari were the worst i have ever had. They were small and flavourless. My entree was the italian version of a taco. Again apart from salt it was void of flavour. It was cool that they were showing 4 football games at once. But it wss annoying that the sound wss on... More

I went there to order take out and for a beer while waiting there. The host told me that, I can order at the bar. There were only two persons on the bar, but it was not clean. There were three empty glass and dirt on the counter. Bar tender was not busy at all. She told me that she... More

I'd never seen an East Side Mario's attached to a hotel before. Weird. Anyway, I had some time to kill before my afternoon flight so I stopped by for lunch. It was fine, the server was nice and took good care of me.
