After a big lunch around 2pm we wanted some baked goods for dinner ;). We asked our waitress for a recommendation and she nailed it. We got a brownie, bread pudding, and pecan pie. All very yummy. The brownie was rich, the bread pudding had a toffee topping that was quite tasty and the pecan pie was spot on. If... More

I enjoyed my 2 lunches here, had a very tasty curry soup and a turkey vegetable soup, both served with delicious bread. A range of salads, cookies, cakes are available on teh bakery side of the Cafe. Convenient location downtown, reasonable prices, friendly staff

An old 3 storey building, with wood floors and a friendly feeling. Bakery which also has coffee, beer, sandwiches and salads - fresh and tasty. I recommend the sausage roll - nicely spicy and meaty. We also went to a show on the top floor.

One step into this place and you'll realize how popular this place is to the locals. Came here for breakfast on a very early Sunday morning -- had their pulled pork turnover. Not bad, though a tad too flavourful for a breakfast kind of dish for my taste. The staff is always ready and willing to help and give their... More

Great concept, but I found it overpriced. Bakery goods expensive, but tasty. Lunch menu had good variety, but mediocre in taste. Went twice, first time we were tired and hungry, so it seemed OK, second time it was a disappointing.

Stopped for lunch while touring st John's...food was delicious and staff very friendly. A great casual atmosphere reminiscent of a coffee house. Would definitely recommend!!

We love their coffee. We stop in each morning on our holiday to enjoy a couple of cappuccino's. I love the attention to detail from the barista to make the presentation beautiful as well as tasty.

It was a little awkward coming in the first morning since there were two counters and lines but we quickly learned one is for baked items and the other is for hot food (but you can order a pastry here, too). The food was good quality and freshly prepared. The floral scented tea was great! Don't just ask for hot... More

Well.... Its more confusing than a Russian grocery store when you try to navigate what to order where ... But it is worth it. The line ups can be long, make sure you go next door for a chair, but the soups are rich and the baked goods like home.
