This is an old fashioned eatery that still actually makes a lot of their own things (soup/sauces/etc). It was a refreshing change and friendly staff. Not a fancy place but clean and bright.

We had dinner here but just sandwiches as we had had a big lunch. No issue at all. Service was fast, food was good.

The food was very good and plentiful, the service was cheerful, and the meal arrived promptly. I couldn't ask for a lot more, but it was also at a very friendly price. I had the Hefty Breakfast and enjoyed every bite.

I have routinely hit AJ's for breakfast. The eggs Benedict are great and the special breakfast is inexpensive and also great. However I recently went for lunch and was shocked. The clam chowder was thick, had a skin from sitting too long and did not taste good. My wife had meatloaf. It was inedible due to poor flavor.

Typical fare for a "Family" restaurant. Nothing fancy, but decent food. If you like a decent omelet or pancakes anytime, this restaurant is for you. Friendly staff, good service. Be sure to bring Canadian dollars as they do not convert US dollars.

We were looking for a breakfast place after leaving our hotel that wasn't a chain restaurant and stopped a man on the street who directed us to AJ's. We missed it on the first drive by because it's in a little plaza, but we eventually found it. We got the breakfast special of eggs, toast, bacon and home fries. My... More

We went here for dinner and it was so good! The waitress was fun and sarcastic which is just like my family. After we ordered our food came quite quickly. It was tasty!

Our first stop out of Maine because we saw it and were hungry. We lucked out and had an inexpensive lobster roll and salad and a gourmet Digby scallop plate in lemon butter. While we were eating a challenged older lady wandered in, used the restroom , got a hug from the waitress and left. She comes frequently, usually with... More
