The food is excellent, unusal choices, creative presentations. The dining room is clean, quiet and appropriately decorated for an old inn. The only reason we didn't give it a five was due to the service. Our server was lovely, she just needs training on how...More

Six of us had a delicious lunch here. Two got the soup and sandwich, which was a tuna melt that they said was excellent. Two got the seafood chowder which was the best they ever had. One got the soup and salad and could barely...More

We always like to eat lunch here when passing through the area. The Inn is charming; with an ambience from another age. The lunch menu is short, interesting and well priced. Plus it's always tasty and well presented. We chose the soup and sandwich and...More

My sister and I have discovered this fantastic Inn a few years ago, and we stop in frequently for lunch. The menu is not very elaborate, but that is fine. They have excellent choices and the food is simply outstanding. We've tried their soups, sandwiches,...More

This hundred year old restaurant is in an awkward phase right now. The building is lovely, and the menu is pretty good if absolutely boring, staid, and static, but the service is slower than slow.

The food was outstanding - fresh vegetables from the garden. Beautifully and creatively cooked entrees and wonderful desserts. Wine choices are a bit lacking and the service can be inconsistent - but the final product (meal) was spectacular.

A friend in Ontario said we had to make a visit to this inn. Sunday lunch provided the opportunity and we arrived fashionably late. It's a well cared for old home and the owner spent plenty of time telling us about its history...he's from Ontario...More

This is a unique dining experience. The atmosphere, food and service are fantastic. The dining room is elegantly furnished with fine china and wood panels. The food was incredible, even the desserts were unique and very tasty. I can't wait for my visit.

Whenever we have the opportunity, we come here for lunch. On this trip we stayed at the Inn so we could try out the dinner and breakfast. March is definitely off season for the Inn but our dinner was nevertheless very good. The Inn and...More
