Heard for some time that we should try VJ so stopped by one evening after a Forks outing. Ordered a hot dog and fries. Was delighted in the food - well worth it.

There is something kind of cool about this place. It's kind of one of those divey whole-in-the-wall hidden gems that the locals know. It reminded me of Milky Way in Regina, Saskatchewan - obviously VJ's isn't an ice-cream joint, but it had that same kind of vibe. You order from the window and then there are some outside picnic tables... More

I always come here when I'm back in Winnipeg for a visit. Love the chili on the burgers. We don't have that in Mexico.

I had been told this was a hidden gem and worth the visit . That it is a little hole in the wall and to overlook it as the food is worth it. $17 later for a double burger/fries and shake I don't think it was worth it. The good part...the root beer shake was good. The fries all though... More

An other delicious burger, my family ate out after a play at the theatre and we wanted to go back and buy another 3 vj's special double loaded burgers. Always a line up, no matter what time...we went at 1100pm, and no one gets turned away!! DELICIOUS, the BEST IN CANADA !! Thanks VJ's

Awesome fries and atmosphere. This place is literally a hole in the wall where you step in to order and drive away or weather permitting picnic tables outside. The menu is limited and really good. Portions are good and by the number of locals coming in to pick up lunch it will be around for many more years.

If you crave a good burger burger and zesty fries. Place to go. Summer time you can eat outside. Fast. After dinner you can hop down the forks to walk off the yummy meal. We have never been happier then when we eat the. High recommended.

Heard about VJ's from a colleague and decided to stop in on a trip to Winnipeg from BC. Dragged along my a local Winnipeg native who had not been to eat here in years. They lived up to the hype. Great burgers, you have to have the special burger. Chili inside. Fries are awesome and the milkshake authentic. They don't... More
