After traveling for a long while to come to this restaurant I was thoroughly disappointed Very expensive with nothing special to add. Very dirty and old with no Reno’s to improve. Location poor.

Stopped in for a bite to eat in between plays during fringe festival. French fries found to be quite soggy and tasting doughy and toppings did not taste fresh. Cashier didn't have enough change. Found the service to be quite unprofessional. Disappointing.
I have been here many times and have been very pleased except this last visit. The toppings were good but the fries were cold and tasted like they had been rewarmed.
Smokes has taken a traditional Quebecios food and made it their own order out treat. Both times I had poutine from Smokes I liked the different variants available. Good potatoe at an affordable price.
Later at night in the summer this place is pretty hopin'. The types of poutine offered are fun and different, and fairly tasty, but be prepared to wait for a while to get the more complicated orders.
