Was in Winnipeg for a week and visited multiple times - for lunch, dinner, and late night drinks. My party and I were so impressed with the service and quality of food/beverage that we just kept coming back. We were greeted at the door with coat check very politely. The seasonal menu was presented to us very nicely and the... More

I've been in this place for a couple of times, both of them the experience has been very positive, The menu is a bit eclectic but works fine, the list of wines is not extensive but there are good options at good prices. The atmosphere is good for a chat with friends and the service is good as well. I... More

We each had the peasant burger with greens. Excellent! The mix of cuts they use in the hamburger makes a very tasty mix. The green salad was green even with the dressing on the side-very fresh lettuce. We split the goat cheese cheesecake for desert. Wow was it delicious! Service was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Another couple and us try different restaurants when we dine out a couple of times a year and we chose this restaurant to see what it offered. We dined on a Saturday night when the theatres were presenting so it was very fortunate we made a reservation. This place is very popular. We arrived early and they accommodated us in... More

I am gluten free and enjoyed the pork chop cooked sous vide - tender and juicy, as well as the carrot soup. Apparently the steak is cooked sous vide as well - I must go back and try that too. I know a restaurant is good when even the side dishes are made with care. The pork was topped with... More

We found the meals pretty good but not great. The service was very good. The noise level was very high. Portions were a bit small.

Food was just okay - nothing more. I didn't care for the rubberized table cloths and paper napkins either. I tried a few oysters which were really good, as was the wine and a sampled cocktail. The rest of the meal was just passable, and one of my sides, 'leek pie' was really bad - not passable - a rubbery,... More

Went for my birthday dinner. Hubbie had the Lamb pie which I sampled often and it was delicious. I had the cod dinner with kale and peas. Though the cod lacked flavour. Seemed the cod is steamed with the skin on. Must be a neuvo thing as this is second restaurant that fish served with skin on and really I... More

I came for a date here and everything right down to the little mason jars used for decoration was perfect. The calamari was perfect, some of the best I have ever had. The dip for it was light and zesty with a hint of lemon. For my entree I had the chicken my dining companion had the tourtière. The chicken... More
