We totally enjoyed an evening on the patio with wine and amazing fish & chips....a tip though....don't be fooled by the line up outside....that is for take out as a lot of people order to go....go inside and request a table...they take your name and you don't have to wait in the line...

A long standing main stay at East Beach. Enjoy their take and head to the beach to enjoy your fish and chips!

They always add an extra piece of fish so keep in mind if you want, order one. I thought it was a little greasy, I have had lighter (not so greasy) in other places.

We have been dinning at Moby Dicks for years the quality of their product is good , but over the years this funky fish and chip shack has become tired looking and needs a refresh ,the take out window and outside eating area Is in need of an overhaul , including a good clean ...from a service point of view,... We had some type of fish and chips craving...this place hit it immediately soon as we walked through the door. My wife and I split a 2 piece...a large plate! We sat outside...and the only thing that ruined our lunch experience was the work being done on the RR.

Went specifically to White Rock to have fish and chips and not knowing the restaurants we decided on Moby Dick's. There were three of us and given the nature of not receiving enough food at most places we ordered two coleslaw a, clam chowder, and a five piece fish and chips. First the cole slaw was so big we could... More

We went for a drive and ended up in White Rock @ Moby Dick for lunch. Funky little joint that is wonderful. Also has "Take Out" window to take it across the street to the beach. Their Moby Dick Fish and Chips is ordered by the number of fish, but whatever you order you get one more included. We had... More

dropped by for lunch just after they opened at 11:30.....the place is always lined up when the doors open. Shared our usual 2 piece (they always give an extra piece of fish on each order...=3pcs). The fish and the fries were just cooked, fresh and succulent! Always have to go there a few times a year.

It was a beautiful evening and we always enjoy going to White Rock and having fish and chips on the beach. We have ordered fish and chips from Moby Dick in the past and have always enjoyed the food. However, yesterday we found the batter on the fish to be heavy and extra greasy. A disappointing meal but he view... More
