We had reserved a table and it was ready for us as we arrived. Our server, Victoria, was very attentive and the service we received was very good. There was an issue with the customers on the next table and both Victoria and the maître d' came over to apologise and ensure that it hadn't spoilt our evening. Our food... More

We knew it was a busy evening so we arrived early and were able to have a few cocktails at the bar. All were served up timely and tasted great! We moved to our table and had excellent service with good chat & recommendations. We started with oysters which were absolutely fantastic - perfect size, fresh and cold as well... More

We always visit Hy's when we come to Whistler. We had two visits this time and we weren't disappointed. Steak was excellent and they served up great options for the kids too. It was busy on Saturday as you would expect but they threw in a dessert foc to compensate for the wait! All the staff were amazing and really... More

Six of us ate here on our last night in Whistler and it was a great end to our trip! Best meal of the trip, best Bloody Caesar and best service as well. Had great appetizers (Caesar salad, fr onion soup, ahi, jumbo prawns) and a great steak. The cut and grillwork were perfect and a wine list that didn't... More

We stayed nearby and went here for a nice glass of red after a whole day skiing. The local bartender Greg is really good at making small talk.

My son and I decided to try out Hy's after over 20 years of staying up at Whistler and visiting regular favorites like Quattro, Araxi, Bearfoot Bistro, and Sidecut, with the expectations of a good to great steak dinner. However, we were disappointed about the relatively few steak options on the menu (only one grass fed option in the bone... More

Hy's was on our must visit list when we headed to Whistler for a skiing holiday. What came as a very pleasant surprise is that the starters are keeping their ground nicely against the fantastic signature steaks. T-bone and black angus bone-in rib eye are a must, and a difficult choice between the two. The sauces and sides are nice... More

This was well overpriced for poor/average food at inflated prices with little kids everywhere. The Keg is far better value. I do have to say the service was excellent but the food/drinks were way below average for very inflated prices.

We enjoyed our evening at Hy's from the pre dinner happy hour cocktails at the bar to the meal itself. Service was good, friendly and fun and the food was very tasty, presented well and served in a timely way. However, we ate out every night we were in Whistler over a range of restaurants and this was by far... More

I've been to Hy's in Vancouver previously, so knew how great the food was already, but our waiter (Jay) was fantastic. Super friendly, knowledgeable, easy to chat with. He helped with food choices and wine pairing, and gave us some tips about weather / travel / traffic.
