We enjoyed a nice evening at Il Caminetto. Our waiter was very attentive and our food was authentic and well prepared. My husband is from Italy so he knows!! The pasta orders were on the small side, but well cooked al dente. My son enjoyed a generous portion of veal parmigiana and my husbands osso buco was delicious. FIne dining... More

Food was good: Oysters, Crab cakes, scallops and Veal Parmigiana. However, the restaurant is very noisy, and it can be very cold - when you are unlucky enough to sit near the door during wintertime and temperatures below zero. What influenced heavily my rate, apart from the cold flashes every two minutes, was the very indifferent reaction by the staff.... More

We had dinner here for a change of pace from the usual casual dining scene and we were in the mood for a nice quiet meal. The atmosphere was just that. Quiet and relaxing. Attentive service and waitstaff. Portion sizes are a bit small for the prices (especially after a long day on the slopes and are in the mood... More

I am glad they are changing owner, hopefully they will change the chef to. Good service awful food. First time I ever tasted a carbonara with cream sauce! Carbonara does NOT have cream sauce. Muscles had no flavor whatsoever, avoid this restaurant, or until the new oner takes over on April 15th.

I was convinced to go to this restaurant by friends who swore by it. Maybe it was just my wife and I but nothing served - including our drinks - matched anything we would make and serve at home. The door staff were surly and miserable. Not the best welcome. Starters and deserts were very small and very over priced... More

Our friends invited us out to dinner and booked this restaurant. The food and service were very good. There was a wide selection of food and we had pasta and meat dishes which were excellent.

We had booked before arriving in Whistler on the recommendation of friends. Good move as this place is popular and rightly so. Great meal of better than average "white table cloth" style Italian with a great wine list to match. Really attentive service, not cheap but quality was to match and we would definitely eat there again.

Restaurant with a great decor. The service is A++. All waiters is very attentive to our needs. All the food was really tasty. (Must try the entrée of Mozarella Di Buffalo). An exemple of good service, they separated the entrée for 2 without extra. The main course was also very good. Extensive choice of wines. I can't give 5 stars... More

Peak season at Whistler means you are highly encouraged to make a reservation wherever you dine. That being said, this restaurant was flexible enough to fit us in for an early dinner. The food was excellent and the service was very good. A bit more of a formal place.

Great meal, great ambiance and great service! My daughter and I shared a late night delicious meal which was graciously split and served on individual plates without up charge. Service was friendly and yet always professional. Have been dining at this restaurant for many years and always great!
