The restaurant wasn't busy late one evening early in the winter season, and we had a quiet meal with attentive service from friendly staff. The wine list markup was a bit much, and the menu was a bit pricey, but we had good lasagna, cannelloni, antipasto, etc. It just lacked a little "wow factor" that we expect to get from... More

My husband and I just had dinner there tonight. We had an amazing service. The waiter, who was French, was very professional and also kind. My husband had the lasagna and I had the veal parmigiana with spaghetti. Both dishes were delicious. We shared a creme brûlée which was very good too. Overall we had a great experience, and we... We dropped in for dinner here on Saturday night over the US thanksgiving weekend without a reservation and were surprised to find plenty of unoccupied tables which was our first clue. We were surprised as we have eaten here before and always needed a reservation. Whilst we could not fault the service, the decor here looked dated which would not... More

Do you like Italian Food? Do you like bread? Well this is the palace for you. 1 of 2 restaturants Umberto opened many years ago. Classic dinning and fresh. Professional Servers, white aprons and easy to find in the main village. Get your wine and carb dress pants on, well at least your clean jeans and down jacket.

After a long search we ended up in Il Caminetto. Waiter was extremely friendly and the dishes came in a (for us little too) quick way. Food was delicious as well as the wine. Price vs quality one of our best choices during our trip!

The friendly staff were most welcoming and were knowledgeable about the menu items. The food was superb and it was a pleasure to eat at this relaxed restaurant.

We ate early, 6 pm, as we had seen it to be busy when we walked past the previous evening. We had a delicious meal, elegantly served in outside heated patio

The more we travel in Canada, the more we see the same pattern, really excellent service, that cannot do enough to help, and food that is perfectly acceptable, but really nothing special. We were unlucky enough to go on the same evening as a large party of exceptionally loud people - I am guessing a conference of bankers or something... More

We were invited to dinner with friends , party of 8 , the restaurant had advised that we had to be out by 8.30 pm . This was not a problem and by no means did they make us feel we had to eat fast . The waiter , Real was fabulous and made us feel that we were there... More

I was craving real pasta and I got it. The menu was varied and the crab cake starter was excellent but the rigatoni with sausage was the star of my meal. Lovely service and a very very pleasant dinner.
