Araxi is a high-class restaurant with great food, but also relatively pricey. Service is good but slightly arrogant at times.

We were there for the anniversary five course meal. It was so tasty and filling. I have been to Araxi several times and it is always fantastic.

Returned to Araxi recently for dinner. Again the restaurant did not disappoint. Jordan was our server, and she was excellent with recommendations and general engaging chit-chat. We also had a visit from the Manager, Sam who checked in with us. This reminded me of the...More

On a busy Sunday with many (all) Whistler Village dining options full we ended up in the empty Araxi. The brunch menu was the usual egg+ dishes with a nice assortment of fish options as well. We went for half a dozen fresh oysters, lobster...More

The food is very good. The service was non existent. I took 25 min until we were first approached. The wine did not arrive until after the main course was served. The food itself is very good and probably better if you can enjoy it...More

This was a very nice restaurant. Yelp has this as one of the best in Whistler. Now I will say that in all fairness my wife and I were not there that many days, but from our observation, there was definitely NO FINE shopping. Mostly...More

From the hostess to our server, from our drinks to our food everything about our dinning experience here was FABULOUS! In our party we had local wines, sangrias, oysters, pasta and prawns with risotto. All of it was huge portions, full of flavor and the...More

Most countries do not celebrate foreign holidays. Just as it is unlikely to find a Thanksgiving dinner in the US on the Canadian holiday, the same is true in reverse.

The culinary cornerstone in the heart of Whistler Village, Araxi enjoys a long held international reputation for excellence in food, wine and hospitality. As an early pioneer of farm to table dining, Executive Chef James Walt's seasonally focused menus celebrate the excellence of locally sourced ingredients. Walt's innovative and skillfully executed dishes-from savoury starters through delicious desserts-deliver intelligent compositions and unforgettable flavours. Centrally located in the main square of the village, Araxi boasts a contemporary dining room coloured in warm earth tones - and a sleek Oyster Bar that exudes the passion and craftsmanship that lie at the heart of the restaurant. The lively lounge, which features a year-round indoor/outdoor bar, is Whistler's favourite gathering place for both locals and visitors alike.
